Agreed
Hello and welcome @Mitchell43
Youāre right on with this video. I was taught to shoot at a young age and Iām 84 and havenāt shot anyone yet. I took both of my kids out when they was small and showed them what a 22 pistol would do to a 2 liter soda bottle filled with water so they could see what it would do if you shot someone.
Welcome to the family brother @Mitchell43 and you are in the right place at the right time.
Iāve actually written several legislators, suggesting gun safety be taught as early as 2nd grade. Not in a political way, just practical. Also that kids should be made to realize that if they ever fire a gun, theyāre responsible for that bullet, until it stops moving, and if it kills or injures an innocent person, they can never undo it. Again, not a religious or political message - just moral. Leave an impression that will later save lives.
All Iāve gotten back from the legislators I contacted were form letters. I even offered to draft the legislation for them. So frustrating.
It is as if the way it currently works is that you vote R because you certainly donāt want to vote D! However, the R you vote for goes to Washington and fails to affectively represent you as promised, Yet they do NOT get voted out of office because, come the next election, you are faced with exactly the same choice you had the election before, with the same candidate, so again you vote R, because you certainly donāt want to vote D!
It is as if you are trying to make good choices from a bad menu. That is actually a thing now, just try to use the online help menu from a bad company, - lots of useless options from which to choose.
It is as if the āvotesā the politicians are counting, are not the votes that include us!
Perfect analogy! The main problem being that unlike most poor menu options where we can simply walk away and choose another vendor with a better menu we are stuck with the lousy menus the Democrats and Republicans keep laying down in front of us:(
yes, exactly! well put.
My freshman year at John F. Kennedy High School in Chicago, I was in ROTC, there was a shooting range in the basement of the school. We learned gun safety and proper use. I agree with Colion, 100%!
My dad was a teacher. His quote: āIgnorance is just a lack of knowledge. Nobody knows everything. Weāre all ignorant about something. But itās easy to fix. Take a class, read a book, ask questions. Stupid is when a person refuses to do anything about their ignorance.ā
Exactly!
I say it like this, Itās alright not to know today but with all of the resources available itās not OK to not know tomorrow,
āWe believe this was a TARGETED INCIDENTā¦ā
Wait, What?!?! The ā#1 Gun Control Restrictions in the Nationā cannot stop a āTargetedā Attack?!?!?!?!

IMHO they are neither ignorant or stupid they KNOW exactly what they are doing!!!
sadly just ran into two of those types in another thread⦠fed up so I placed them on ignoreā¦
refused to even look at the information I posted⦠so IMHO your meme says their attitude exactly!!!
IMHO you can NOT have a discussion with someone holding such an attitude⦠waste of timeā¦
I agree but applaud the jury for their verdict!
Absolutely! That had to be a truly ājury of his peersā
