1970 to be exact. I apparently was too young at the time. I just listened to it and it was totally unfamiliar. I gather it was not very popular. The lyrics don’t impress me.

I think I was 8 or 9 years old so was mostly interested hiding in the back of my house smoking cigarettes. If I remember correctly the vocalist went full-blown Muslim and got outta the music industry.

The artist may have foreseen the future of the music industry with the mind-boggling popularity of Taylor Swift. It would make sense that he just gave up on music and turned to charitable measures. When I first witnessed Taylor Swift and her “talents” on YouTube, I went into my den, shut the doors, and played old and outdated Bob Dylan CD’s at full volume.
