California leftist politicians: Meh.
There are some positive signs out there. Unfortunately for us out west, the 9th Circuit isnât quite onboard yet. Theyâre playing games in terms of who gets to hear certain cases and they stalled a couple pending the outcome of a magazine capacity case, which theyâre dragging their heels on. The 9th Circuit already has a well deserved reputation for taking longer than any of the other circuit courts to resolve cases. But I have a feeling theyâre going to drag this one out as long as they possibly can.
Trump & McConnell did some good things for us with a lot of 9th Circuit appointments. But Grampa Joe managed to reverse all of that. I have a feeling that some of these cases are going to SCOTUS. Listening to some of the oral arguments, some of these judges donât seem to give a damn about Bruen or Heller. Theyâre still living in a world of, âBut itâs for the greater good of public safety.â
That is part of the problem some let their personal opinion get in the way of the law on both sides not just the Dems. but they do appear to be the biggest offenders. Makes me real glad I call home Texas.
Personal opinion is a big part of it. But when you listen to the questions/comments from the justices, you also realize thereâs a lot of ignorance and an inability to think critically. âŠwhich then leads to inserting their personal opinions instead of reaching a logical conclusion. Sometimes itâs like watching Monty Pythonâs Holy Grail. âSo⊠if she weighs as much as a duckâŠâ Only itâs not as funny because it has consequences.
Thatâs actually a good thing. The more they stall the more case law from the rest of the country stacks against them until the dam breaks.
I sure hope so. But Iâm beyond exhausted from waiting for them to overturn the âroster of approved handgunsâ that Iâm âallowedâ to purchase from. Said in my best Homer J Simpson voice, âBut I want a new 1911 nowwwwwwwâŠâ
I wasnât a gun owner yet when it was put in place so I often wonder,
âHow did we get here?â
And now, 11% excise tax on guns and ammo purchases.
I donât recall voting YES on it.
Whatâs that saying about a camelâs nose coming into the tent?
I liked that Sportsmanâs Warehouse had a sale the whole month of July for 11% off all firearms and ammo for CA residents. But we really need some kind of law where politicians who vote for stuff like this have to personally pay for all legal expenses when itâs overturned in the courts. These morons in Sacramento just keep getting more bold each year with the crap they churn out and thereâs no consequences.
