Best non mounted Flashlights with strobe

Looking for a solid tail button high lumen light with strobe function. Been searching the forums here but can’t find the topic. Any recommendations?

I have a few Maglite XL200 models I love.

CDNN has a ton.

These are discontinued and are without an end button, but I love them in the glove boxes.

(can still be found on eBay and at BH audio video for $32)

@PappyDewBoston check out NEBO web site good lights for a better price, it’s what I use.
2 lights you might like, REDLINE 6K Lumen rechargeable front switch.$99.00.
Or REDLINE X max 1800 lumens, rechargeable w/end switch $39.99.
Check out the weapons lights for hand guns, new and improved switch. I have 2 and love them.

If 500 lumens is enough, the Streamlight ProTac 2L-x is pretty alright.

I like the Olight M1X Striker, though I think it has been replaced with a new model. 1000 lumens and the bezel can be used to break glass or in a defensive situation. I also have and like the Fenix PD35, 1000 lumens. I haven’t shopped flashlights for a while so both models may be outdated. Both are solid, waterproof and have a strobe function.

Just wondering how you liked your NEBO lights and what did you buy?

I highly recommend Olight lights. They have two tail-clicky lights and AFAIK both have strobe, and can also tail-stand. The M2R is slightly older, uses an 18650 battery and is more “floody”, 1500 lumens. The M2R Pro is newer, uses a larger (physically and capacity) 21700 battery and is more “throwy”, 1800 lumens.

Hey @BRUCE26 followed your advice and picked up the NEBO redline 6k flashlight. That is a serious light and serious solid weapon. May end up in my car. Still getting used to the double toggle on the back of the redline X but love the build and brightness. The site also had these little ball sensor lights that ended up above my work bench. So far so good. Cheers.
