That is a fair point, and I generally agree. The reason I tried one of these safes was because I had seen a lot of positive reviews and recommendations at the time. Unfortunately my own experience was not great, so I no longer recommend it.
I have since switched to a manual gun safe from a more established brand, and it is been much more reliable. Sometimes spending a little more on a trusted manufacturer is worth it, especially for something as important as secure firearm storage.
