Do not Buy These Two Biometric Gun Safes – I Regret It

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else. I tried both

2: https://www.amazon.com/Pistols-Biometric-Fingerprint-Nightstand-Black-Biometric/dp/B0BPFJ551P
after reading several reviews that highly recommended them. Unfortunately, my experience was completely different. Both of these gun safes turned out to be a disappointment.

The fingerprint recognition was not as reliable as I expected, and overall the build quality and performance did not justify the price. Looking back, I feel like I wasted both my money and my time testing these products.

My advice is simple, do not buy something just because a few reviews recommend it. Spend some extra time reading feedback from different sources, especially from people who have actually used the product for a while. Compare several highly rated options before making your final decision.

Hopefully, this saves someone else from making the same mistake I did.

Biometric devices, even at top levels, are shiat. Dust, heavy grease, dry skin, or manual labor can render fingerprint scanners completely useless.
I am sorry to hear you spent good money on this.

We already warned you against buying these safes…

It cost a lot more than most of its competitors, but the very large FBI-approved fingerprint sensor on the Verifi S6000 gun safe is both faster and vastly more reliable than on any of the many other such safes I’ve tried.

You are right that there are situations where fingerprint readers do not perform consistently. I expected these safes to be dependable in everyday use, but that was not my experience. That is exactly why I shared this post hopefully it encourages others to look beyond a handful of positive reviews and do a bit more research before buying.

Looks like I learned that lesson the hard way  At least sharing my experience might help someone else avoid making the same mistake.

I have not tried the Verifi S6000 myself, so I cannot comment on how it performs. If it is been consistently reliable in your experience, that is good to know. Hopefully more people can share their long term experiences so buyers have a better picture before deciding.

I think this is the one you are reviewing, that is really expensive.

You have already found out what is worth $150-ish safe. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Perhaps it’s time to invest more for something reliable.

If you want to see really expensive one, check the Vaultek offer.

This experience definitely showed me that going with a cheaper option is not always the best value. I will take a look at Vaultek and compare it with a few other well reviewed models before buying again.
