Belly Band Carry

anywhere between 2 and 10??? so is appendix type carry?

What about appendix carry

Belly bands by their very nature are appendix carry or sort of cross draww or higher. Not really useful for strong side carry.

PHLSter Enigma is AIWB.

Not tried that, mostly because of my dunlop. And, I had a friend who shot himself in the butt while trying to remove his gun when making out with his girlfriend. Leery of appendix carry, 'cause while I would not want to be shot in the butt, getting shot on the other side of my body is something I really don’t want to experience.

5.11 pants are ok but what about UF Pro P-40 All Terrain Gen.2 Tactical pants for EDU personal options

For $200 they better be able to stop a M855 round.

Yeah I understand it’s a lot of money I just wonder if it’s worth the cost for that brand of clothing

So I have comfort tac belly band. For 25-35 dollars it is not bad. I just don’t like using the button snap to retain gun. I do not think it’s needed.

I think the best belly band is the Galco Underwraps.

Cool sounds great

I also wonder since I pay 40 $ per month what does my USCCA insurance cover in the event for self defense support

I’ve never come across that perspective before.

I have carried daily (in the warmer seasons) for the better part of five years in two different belly bands. I always carry strong side at about 3:30 or 4 o’clock. I put the belly band in the same position as my IWB holster. This way the gun is in the exact same place when warmer weather comes and I transition to a Crossbreed supertuck or minituck.

I’ve used the CrossBreed belly band and the Vertx Unity Tactical Clutch system-both of them for a couple years each at least.

I carry either a Glock 19 or, more frequently, a S&W Shield this way.

Works for me. AIWB doesn’t fit my body shape.

I like the deep concealment belly bands provide.

I stand corrected.

I’m just too flipping fat for that

Not meant as a correction, simply an anecdote of what has worked for me. Maybe I’m using it wrong!
