Ask Ed: Concealed Carry FAQs — September 2020 | USCCA

NOTE: USCCA Customer Engagement team members get a lot of questions, and they pass a good number of them along to Concealed Carry Magazine Senior Editor Ed Combs. If you have a question, you can either ask it below or email it to editor@usconcealedcarry.com. We, of course, cannot guarantee answers to all questions — Ed’s a pretty busy guy — but we’d love to help you out with whatever’s stumping you.

This was an interesting article Ed. You made a good point to contact the Conservation Police, or whatever they are called where you live. Where I live, these folks have more power than cops, as far as search and seizure, so it is best to stay on their good side.

I’m new to being a gun owner and a conceal carry permit. I’m wondering what the laws are about carrying more than one gun on me. Can I have one on my body and one in my purse? Can I have a small one to carry on my ankle and my regular one on my waist? How do I find out the laws on this in my state of GA?
