I told my daughter if she wanted guys to stop trying to pick up on her at the beach is to put a sock down the front of her bikini.

Mark Twain said something similar. “Courage is not the lack of fear. It is acting in spite of it.” Love that! Story time! Today I was putting up Christmas lights on the house for my wife. She is terrified of heights. So there I was on my handy dandy ladder, her bringing me those little clip things. I sat down for a break before doing the taller part of the roof. All of the sudden I hear “holy sh*t this is high” I jumped up to see what’s happening, thinking that my wife is froze up on the third wrung of the ladder. She’s 10 ft up the ladder putting up lights! In that moment I was so proud! That woman has more courage than most people I know. She was visibly shaken, but she pressed on and finished the string.
