Alleged stray bullet from backyard gun practice claims life of woman sitting

He didn’t state which IQ test - there are many - and most are considered racist. So, he shines his spotlight, yet, again, upon his ignorance and racism. He is one of the least competent trolls we have had on this forum.

What isn’t considered racist in recent history? Especially by WHATEVER group who generally scores lower on a particular test. That’s not to say that certain tests weren’t designed and intended to “prove” that a particular group was “less fit” for progressing in society.

The important thing is to remember that knowledge tests do little to measure intelligence, and intelligence tests do not require any particular knowledge. IQ is more concerned with and individual’s understanding and manipulating and relating concepts rather than knowing stuff. And, despite the strides made to improve such tests, they are still only marginally reliable as real world indicators of much of anything.

Perhaps as a reaction to exposure to the real world and experiencing first hand realities of everyday life. It could be that there’s more meaning here beyond the words of the bare statement.

That there’s some real brain food, that is.

My groupies (Trolls) wish to expose the reasons for which I think an IQ test should be utilized for different purposes. In trying to do so, they prove why it should be so.

I gather we would need to decide how many years is recent history. When I was in school, about 50 years ago, in a social studies class, the teacher discussed the idea that IQ tests are considered racist, due to who creates the tests, the sentence structure, words, grammar, and knowledge being tested was disadvantageous to poor black students. He then gave us a “black” IQ test that used a lot of slang and things from “black” culture. The next day, after grading the tests, he discovered that the white kids did better on that test and that was the end of that discussion. Apparently reading comprehension is an issue with these tests, not race, but not being able to read well still does not make one stupid.

Unlike the general, who does not have a grasp on grammar and spelling, and assumes he’s intelligent, which based on his posts, clearly is not, I don’t brag about my mental acquity. One that does so, shows how wrong one is in that regard. It’s like going into a roomful of people and bragging about how humble one is.

When I was very young one of my first experiences with Firearms (and Ammo) was opening a box of .22 boolits. On the flap was a ‘CAUTION: These rounds are capable of going a Mile and a half!’ That had a profound effect on me as my Father had already demonstrated that the homemade ‘Target’ was insufficient to stop those rounds in our basement in Queens NY. They were great for BB’s (Sheetrock, 2x4 frame stuffed with cardboard and Batting from an old construction job. But the .22’s went through it like paper (as well as a hollow door, the legs of our Pool table and finally stopping in an old steamer trunk filled with old blankets and towels. (Boy! was Mama pissed! ).

While i don’t wish to see anymore .gov sticking their long noses in anymore of our business than they already do. I wish folk’s who desire to purchase Firearms have a lick of Common Sense (severely lacking in a lot of folk’s these days) and ‘WATCH YOU”RE BACKGROUND!’)
Like a former co-worker who invited me to shoot in his driveway in Moriarty, NM because he heard I had an aversion to going to our local indoor range. I went, saw the background and told him politely no thanks (and suggested he could do with a better back stop than a flimsy wood Border fence (that had clearly born the wounds of rounds that blew threw his ‘Target stand’ or misses altogether… Scary stuff. What is even more frightening is the business that was beyond the Property line (A Restaurant) He says he only shoots when its closed….. yup ‘You can’t fix…oh forget it’…

Maybe this Guy actually thought he was safe (and Jeez nobody’s gonna get hurt for cryin’ out loud!)

Grandma might have disagreed!

Critical thinking…again.

Not sure about where you live, but here in the Charlotte area, they mostly drive down the center of the road at all times unless (they notice) someone is coming toward them. That notice part is the “other bug” with these self policing systems.

Don’t get me going on what we see on track at track days or when performing technical inspections on vehicles before we let them go on a hot track.

People are less than you think they are in nearly every way.

Albuquerque, New Mexico (and don’t get me started on how these Folk’s drive! SHEESH!)

New Years Eve is Tomorrow! I PRAY that these folk’s when they get seriously pissed and take their guns out on the streets @ midnight I don’t have any rounds crashing threw my ceiling! Sounds like Pearl Harbor outside for about (2) hours! (I am really surprised the last couple of nights have been so quiet —they usually need to get ‘Warmed up!’) Maybe I should not have said that out loud!

A sad but true commentary my Brother, sad but true!

Stay Frosty Brad (and keep moving! ARGH!)

Many only read the manuals until it is to late. I also seen many buy a firearm “because it looks cool” then find our it is a complicated piece of s*** to maintain.

HHmmm, please point to what I spelled wrong or the grammar. You genius, on the other hand, you prove your ignorance over and over.

You: “racist, dude” (no comma here). “Test,” again no comma You need a semicolon. “structure”—yeah, spelling. “was” should be “were.” “black” should start with a capital “B” along with the next 2 times. “test” should have a comma after it. “spelling” should not have a comma after it. “which” should have a comma after it. “acquity” spelled wrong. “so” should not have a comma after it. “peopple” spelled wrong.

Please keep opening your mouth and prove to everyone why I think people like you should be able to drive a car, carry a gun, and make a baby and definitely not vote.

The entire post above is a comedy of errors. It is especially humorous that the concluding exclamation is antithetical to the intended point.

Dripping with an extreme amount of sarcasm and anger!

But this case demands another deeper investigation.
At least 15 - 24 months worth!
I’m truly sorry about that woman’s death, but if we can’t prosecute murders that are captured on video ( Iryna on public transportation ), then this case warrants a few more years of investigation!

Most bullets can travel 1.5 miles!
I’m sure there are plenty of other suspects within a 2 mile radius!

There were NO OTHER SUSPECTS on that train!
How much investigation is required?
Until there is a bullet in that MF$#krs head, you can’t charge anyone else with any murder whatsoever!

If I sound somewhat jaded, well, look around!
Assassins caught in the act, videos of homicides on streets, trains and cars on crowded streets NONE of them prosecuted!
Yeah! You don’t want me in that jury pool!
You don’t need me in that jury pool!

Without any training, a person is likely to believe that bullets explode their targets, or that bullets stop as soon as they hot anything (including paper), or that 10 rounds is enough, or that keeping your trigger finger down there is the right way to do it, or that guns go of by themselves, or or or.

Or like so many other things we have entrusted to the Government that then get abused and used against us. So let’s say we amend laws to require “training” before you can own a firearm. Yeay Nirvana has been reached, everyone has to be trained

It begins as a great idea with lots of buy in, in pro 2A States

But then let’s look at the possibilities. What do you think an enterprising Governor who is anti 2A could do.

If it’s me and I’m not even trying. I could say all trainers have to be State Trained. Then I only offer State Training once a year, a month, even a week. But I can only offer training to 20 trainers per class (Got to keep the quality standards up you know) and those trainers can only train 1 individual ea. and it’s a 5 hour class. Or I can add a $10,000 cost to get the training for trainers. What do you think the cost is going to be for the average person in the first few years. Or I can do all of that. Oh and the training has to be for everyone. No exceptions except I guess for LEO:s and such. How’s that training for all mandate looking now?

Mandated training is great in theory, but the devil is in the details. You have to think about how the actual compliance can be used against you. Just like it is being used against CC since the Bruen decision.

About once a year the cry for mandatory training makes it’s rounds here. It didn’t make sense to give the .Gov that sort of power then and it doesn’t make sense now.

Not an at @Brad.

I hear you. Maybe if we offered free(ish) training, or at least a teaser with the very basics. People could go and at least know that. They can go over and over. If they want more, reasonably priced info.

I can’t imagine any American wanting to keep basics from every/any citizen…for the safety of everyone.

Corporal_Consensus, I hear that the NRA forum is looking for posters. Wouldn’t you be happier over there than with all of us mouth-breathers here?

I take it as a personal challenge. Someone has to educate you after all; the educational system in this country produced the “mouthbreathers.”

Such as all the videos available online and on the USCCA site for example?
