Yes, this is very concerning. It is a continuing pattern within the EU to suppress any party or individual who challenges the European elites who believe it to be their right to rule. It is not different from the way the American establishment has tried to destroy Donal Trump and anyone who supports him. Very sad. Hopefully we (Americans and Europeans) will be able to defeat this small group of elites and return power to the ones who are supposed to hold the power - the citizens of our countries.

Oh it is happening here. 2 assassination attempts on trump, tried to lock him up on numerous charges in multiple states. Its happening.

Now we have district courts that over ride the POTUS on deporting illegals. They dont care about the law of the land. They lost their power and want it back. They are pissed cuz the peasants of this country spoke up.

Expect more to come because they arent even trying to hide it anymore.

Well, it depends on one’s definition of “extreme right.”

There is still time for the US but Western Europe may have reached the point of no return as a result of elitist politics. In the UK and in France, muslims account for about 13% of the national population, a rapid increase of nearly 30% in just the last 2 years.
Freedom of religion was never meant to include religions that are incompatible with the US constitution and to cater to people intent on taking over our institutions.
Minnesota has over 75 mosques, islamic schools and community centers.
Anyone see a pattern?

In this case, “extreme right” are those who must be removed/prevented from power, whoever they are

I’m not going anywhere…

AfD’s “führer” is a woman married to an Asian immigrant woman. Literally a nazi, sure.

Great statement. The AfD recently was identified in polls as the most popular party in Germany. The CSU/CDU, Greens, and SPD cannot accept this since they are all less popular, but combined they are the ruling coalition in parliament. Vice-President Vance is absolutely correct. The greatest threat to democracy is from within European countries.

The AFD is a little weird to me, they keep hating on Jews yet there are less Jews living in Germany today than there were before the Holocaust. They also hate Muslims, but let’s get real Muslims and Jews are not controlling Germany so if the country sucks, blame Germans.

No it wasn’t. They simply have done the best they ever had with around 20% in most of east Germany.

True, to be fair Trump has been doing the same thing but that doesn’t make it OK.

I was referencing a poll recently conducted after the election results you cite that showed the AfD with a higher percentage of support than the CDU/CSU. In the election the AfD had the second largest percent of the vote just behind the CDU/CSU.

Can you send me the poll?

It is cited in the WSJ today in an article about Merz. Front page. It reads, “the AfD leads the CSU/CDU in some polls”. There are a ton of them done and the parties tend to be tied or separated by a percentage or two either way.
