About the True Stories category

Share self-defense stories you’ve seen in the media here. It’s a great way to mentally train (what would I have done here?) and to learn from others. You can see more True Stories on the USCCA Blog.

Active Self Protection on YouTube and Facebook also shares a lot of Self Defense stories, not just stories but videos, surveillance or otherwise. John does a very good job of breaking down what happens and suggesting where mistakes are made. While Hindsight is always 20/20, having that information to kick around just in case you find yourself in your own situation is beneficial.

It’s not for the faint of heart though, most of the videos are from Brazil and people do die on those videos. It’s a huge eye opener honestly.
