Yeah, I’m keeping this screen open while I work on other things waiting to see what he’s going to say…
He probably just left the typing window open while he went to go get lunch

I find as I get older I’m not quite as bouncy anymore myself so avoiding falls is a good way to go:)
I assumed based on what you were saying that you were talking more about cultural heritage and personal identity than simple skin color. Some people so strongly identify with their skin color and so exclusively judge others on that shallow surface trait that they fail to see any of the really important stuff that lies underneath. Based on your writings you don’t impress me as one of those people.
“Based on your writings you don’t impress me as one of those people”
Thank You Shamrock
(and welcome back!)
No, (and I agree w/ you)
if you could see some pictures taken of my team, you would see
‘Real Diversity’ in our ranks. Was there racial tension? Nope. Was there BROTHERHOOD?
Ab-so-lutely!
We didn’t waste time or effort on that crap.
was there ‘Leg pulling’? Raunchy jokes/behavior? YUP
If you are DIVIDED by ANYTHING you will fail as a group (My thoughts on that)
Multi tasking! And my posts need significant editing before hitting reply:)
I have noticed a significant release in pressure since your arrival @Don102. No longer am I the only one with long winded replies that regularly slide off the topic rails:)

WOW, a wonderful compliment from a guy I respect the hell out of, thank you again. I mean that…
BUT! (should have left it the hell alone Don…)
“Slide of the Topic rails?” My mental train wouldn’t keep to the tracks if I wanted it too!
and back to what you said about 'significant editing" THAT is where I get myself in trouble here!
my edit button is up my Caboose!
One of the fun things about a community like this is that none of us really know what each other looks like (for the most part), so we’re interacting with each other based just on what we say and think, and the strength of character. Most people come here with good attitudes and are kind and helpful, and they’re welcomed with open arms. Other times a jackass shows up and he’s pretty quickly put in place. No one knows or cares what race any of us are.
I do have to say, I’ve found that the generally self-reliant, rights-supporting, personal-responsibility-taking types of people who keep arms in defense of themselves and others, and who support the 2A and the constitution, are some of the least racist people I’ve ever associated with. I think that describes most or all of the regulars on this community.
I don’t normally do this (post selfies)
But @ least I won’t get push back from the military Community…
Looking good Brother, and a fine pair of revolvers!
Yupp-er,
they ‘were’ beauties!
I got them from that friend who moved to Texas (and had a near fatal fall)
He’s on the mend now, but his other half wanted the guns back before their move…
I cleaned them up, kicked the dull off them (both ancient .38’s!) and happily returned
them to her. He’s pissed! but well, marriage… Have to keep your house in order
and I’m not a sh–. No Gun matters over friendship.
For sure, no object matters more than the people whom we love and care about. Good of you for cleaning them all up. Hopefully you had a chance to put a few rounds down range with each of them, or maybe you will with your buddy. That would make it even more fun.
Sadly brother, Not one single round
BUT, I did give him the (200) rounds hollow points I bought for Home Dee!
I mean what am I going to do w/ them right?
I have mostly 9’s and 10’s… then I go out and buy a Rock Island .38
Life is hilarious! oh, and anther (200) rounds/hollow points
My LGS salivates whenever I cross his thresh holed (hole? holed? curious)
I was reading your post and just about fell off my chair at the idea you don’t own anything to shoot .38, then I got to the part about the Rock Island and I regained my composure. I mean, one thing I remember about you is your love for revolvers!
Yessir,
I loves da Wheel Gunz!
(but if you read closely I said No .38’s) @ that time
that didn’t mean .357’s, .44’s and their Cousins)
Yes, I could have used the .38’sin the .357 but a GIFT was a better choice.
According to Merriam-Webster, the first definition is meat pie. I guess you look like a meat pie? Though that is pronounced differently from the definition meaning “pallid and unhealthy in appearance”.
Sheppard’s Pie is Awesome!
Haggis not so good!
“pallid and unhealthy in appearance”. rofl:
that’s me all over Brother!
Mr. Nobody! (My new handle)
WWG1WGA
Yep, that about sums it up.
Haggis is delicicous! That is the reason it is their national dish. I was surprised how good it was the first time I had it, based on the description of what is in it. But who couldn’t enjoy organ meats, spices and oats?
I have had it only a few times, but I have enjoyed every time. I do not know where you had it, but don’t go back there, again.
Since you were asking… threshold.
