50-State Constitutional Carry bill support needed…

Just my opinion on that…but a single state judge shouldn’t have any authority over our constitution. Their job should be what their state’s laws are and leave the rest of it alone.
Even having the Circuit Courts are a PITA.

How the Supreme Court Broadened the Second Amendment.

That sure sounds like an overreach of their jurisdictional authority.

My beautiful state of NH is besmirched by four Left wing Congresscritters.

They seem to believe that the Amendments go: 1, 3, 5, 6…..

One does not get to cherry pick the laws that they will abide by, and ignore ones that they chose not to abide by.

Same thing with the Ten Commandments. You do not get a passing grade at the Pearly Gates for anything less than abiding by them all.

The Trace… what a great source of info on our rights. No, the SCOTUS did not broaden our rights, it upheld our inalienable RKBA. Jefferson stated that even without the 2A, we would still have the RKBA. The 2A, like other rights, only codifies our rights, it does not grant us the RKBA, we already have it.

So in other words one doesn’t get praised for obeying the laws, we only get punished for breaking them.

Yes , only if we believe we have the RKBA. Just sayin.

the legislation has been in the house judicary for 55 days. Unless it is forced out of committee and onto the floor of the house, IT WILL DIE IN COMMITTEE.

Take a look at the committee members and do your contact thing.

This may be a way to force it out of committee and get some action on if we all jump on the bandwagon.

Today on the USCCA member log on page was a blurb about signing an online prepared message to your federal representatives, Senators, and Member of Congress.

I have done this before on other 2A legislative matters, and it’s very easy, USCCA has your name, and contact information already plugged into a form, all you have to do is hit the submit tab, and it’s done.

I am in Tennessee and this is like preaching to the choir. All my reps are pro 2A, and some have cosponsored like bills.

But, it boosts the numbers of those in favor of whatever measures, and gives them a bit more clout to champion a bill with.

I have done this before, and will again, they cannot make it any easier, and there is nil effort to do so.

About the time you forget you submitted your support message you start getting auto reply acknowledgment messages that they got your message.

That was easy! And, you will have done your part in the due process of trying to help the 2A cause.

See my first such acknowledgment from one of my two Senators below.:down_arrow:

That would be a great bill (law) to see passed.

Yes it would.

Please: Drop a line once and done to your two Senators for your state and your one Congress Member, same note copied and pasted onto their email contact form on their websites,

Just ask that they support this bill. Maybe it will get moved along if enough constituents do that and they realize how popular it is, if they want to got reelected.

If you can make posts here to a thread, you can make a post to your elected representatives.

I hope it makes it! It would make our travels a lot easier. It would be simpler not to have so many different restrictions in so many different states.

It’s like trying to dodge speed traps on a highway with frequent changes in the speed limit, and hidden speed limit signs.

lt’s too easy to get tripped up now, like forgetting to change to lower capacity ammunition magazines crossing state lines to cite only one of many different types of restrictions.

You can drive across America without the traffic laws changing, and needing different state licenses.

Why not the same for Carrying a firearm?

Thanks Frank,
it will take many like yourself to get the legislation to the floor for a vote.

I am encouraged by USCCA organization for legislative action, and fund which, just visited their site yesterday, and noted that they got over half a million signatures on a petition, and tens of thousands of letters sent to Congress.

USCCA is leading the way, and doing a marvelous job advocating for 2A causes.
So, if given the opportunity please jump on their bandwagon for this effort.
