They should have to come inline, if not they will be in violation of this and let the courts hash that out,
That is what might be needed to force the Supreme Court’s hand to finally assert the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution over the rouge states and abolish all their unconstitutional restrictions that infringe on our 2A rights.
All we can do in the meantime is actions like this that might give us the leverage we finally need to see something positive finally.
If we don’t do anything, for sure nothing will get done.
This is the beginning of a new administration, and a new era.
It might just be our time to shine, and see this done.
The Lunitic Left tried everything that they could to derail from Trump from pulling his train into the Oval Office, but dispite all that he made his station on time.
Maybe we will be able to say the same for 2A.

I’ll just put out there that I won’t be the first person who tries to tell Illinois that they are required to honor my Wisconsin CCW permit. Even if SCOTUS makes a ruling, there will be blue states ignoring that ruling.
But on the flip side, if you want to be immortalized, get a SCOTUS decision named after you.

Those in violation of this act once law, open the courts to hash that out.

And, will only continue to push their Unconstitutional agenda, and policies.

You can bet that the Lunatic Left won’t vote favorably for anything that you are wishing for, that is a given,
So, all we can do is, persist until we prevail.

@Frank261: I received the same answer from my Reciprocity letter, word for word, from my Demonrat, er, Democrat Party Senator. Most polite, and quickest, reply that I have ever gotten from her/them!
Some Senators must have recently taken a “Constituency” reply class.

I am sure that when they are first elected as freshman that they get some kind of orientation along with their support staff.
Who I am sure take care of these mundane perfunctory tasks, this is likely a knee jerk automated reply to save them all the trouble of the time consuming task of acknowledging incoming snail, and emails that I am sure they get a ton of daily.
Like an employer gets job applications, and resumes.
That is way they reduce most to simply (for or against) any particular bill, like a yea, or nay vote tally, and when they talk to that bill on the floor just:
So, that they can say for whatever # of requests from their constituents to support, or kill a particular bill yada, yada…
So, we just emphasize up front in the first line that they please support this bill / measure.
Because, that is ultimately what they are looking for is this a (for or against) bit of correspondence.
And, skip to the chase of marking their tally sheets.
Not getting into the prose of the rational of your passion for, or against it.
They don’t have the time and even if they fully agree with your reasoning don’t have the time to indulge your argument.
All they need to know is how the majority of their constituents feel about it, and if they are interested in being re-elected will abide that majority.
There is a book out of course titled: “Write to the point.”
It’s not an easy contest in flowery prose.
It’s how military reports are written, especially battle field reports to the Command that is getting bombarded by many such reports, and the enemy siamotainously.
Just get to the point, and skip the polite Chet-chat.

I don’t have that problem in Tennessee, my elected representatives are Pro-2A, many co-sponsor 2A bills.
NY, CA, the 13 states that don’t grant TN Resiprocity, that’s another story.

I’m going to give USCCA some completion. The posts on @X by FPC, Firearms Policy Coalition are impressive (just ignore the four letter words at times). The org has access to legal and files amicus briefs in cases that support the 2nd.

One thing that occurred to me, I think the left is going to regret that they chose this issue to stand their ground and fight.
Why?
In every recent 2A case that has come before SCOTUS, the left finds out there are unintended consequences. In Heller and Bruen. the reach of the 2nd Amendment was broadened considerably over the original reach of the court case in question. In this case, I can easily predict that SCOTUS will not only rule that the state CCW requirements must be honored by other states, but they will go further and state that the weapons regulations and CCW requirements of the individual states are also is a violation of 2A.

So far I’ve seen H.R. 38 which on on 25Mar 25 passed a committee vote of 18-9 to amend the name to
‘‘Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act’’. It sounds like this bill and Massie bill H.R. 645, may have merged somehow? Hoping it gets out of committee.

Yes, it made it out of committee, for a full vote on the floor, but in he meantime congress was not in session so, it’s stalled, but alive, and kicking still moving forward at the speed of sloth, or congress which, is about the same.
