I stand by the homeowner/resident’s rights in these cases. I believe many if not most automobile searches are probably illegal as well. Police make these decisions in order to justify search and seizure in my opinion. I’ve run into enough cocky police officers to justify my opinion. No disrespect for law enforcement but they need to be reel in a bit.

Agreed.
I take this case to also be a real world warning about being careful what you say to others, even in heated situations. You may be using over-the-top language or theatrics just to make a point but others may take your words and actions at face value, causing them to believe that official intervention is needed. Once that train get rolling it’s really hard to stop.
