Zeroing Rifle with limited range

Rifles can be used for multiple situations, not all of which can be easily foreseen or anticipated. If you are going to own such a platform, it should, at a minimum, be optimized with a solid battlesight zero. It is not academic. Any weapon needs to be zeroed, and not just for engagements inside a home.

50 yards is what I have my red dot AR zeroed to. Out to 200 yards, the bullet moves (up or down) less than two inches from the dot to the actual point of impact. I figure that’s good enough for the precision of a non-scoped rifle.

That was my thought as well .

Well that being said, why even run a sighting apparatus. Lol. Just saying.
