Ahhh, training smart, and slow, rather than diving into a pool head first that hasn’t been filled up yet (my style). That is one thing I need to work on.

…the sound of silence over a large field covered in snow on a windless sunny snowy afternoon… the difference in the crack of rifle rounds and the echos… subsonic pistol rounds going off and… disappearing…
ah, heck who am I fooling: I moved to the South not Idaho!
(but I did love my winter in Idaho…)

What is this “winter” of which you speak? It sounds like a terrible, uncomfortable, dangerous place.
(WI was home until 8 years ago, when we moved to Florida. I ain’t going back.)

Yeah, it’s 70 odd degrees outside right now. Had the heat on yesterday and ac on today. I took one of my puppers to the vet, wore shorts, tank and a Hawaiian shirt. Al weather is schizophrenic. If you don’t like it, stick around 15 minutes it’s bound to change.
