It’s getting worse every Day would you stop and help someone if they had vehicle problems on the side of the road ??
“No Country For Old Men.”
These days, a big NO!!! Unless it’s someone known or family member. AAA is available for anyone!

I’m very helpful person… but unfortunately not on the US soil. One day I tried to help homeless guy (he was walking on the intersection) and buy him a food and got “fu#%ed” because he was expecting money. Another time I stopped on the tollway exit shoulder thinking some Family needed help… almost got robbed. Thank God I had my EDC on center console. ![]()
So.. sorry, if someone need help they are on their own.
The only exception is → I can slow down, roll the window down and ask if the person want me to call for help. But no stopping.
Couple of years ago, helped a gal that looked on the edge of hysteria over a flat tire. Depends on the situation.
Yes sir it Depends on the situation !! Don’t stop if you Feel like something is off . We can always call for the state police . To help !! And unfortunately that’s more than not . Just keep our Heads on a swivel and stay alert!! Our Lives are Definitely in Danger !! We have to way to many foreigners in our country who wants to do us all harm and they came to our country for just that too harm as many of us as they can . Sadly. I will stop to help anyone !! Even if they are off. And the Law will be on the way !! Because the help they need is a trip back to where they came from to Begin with . And if we won’t stop how are we supposed to get the enemies of our country the hell out of our country!! Stay sharp . Love Bobby Jean and Debbie Ann Twofeathers. ![]()

yeah, with cell phones and the availability to receive help I will not put myself in a bad situation. I was stuck at work one day and a coworker said hitchhike and I asked her if she would stop for me and she quickly replied, good point.
I attempted to help an older lady change a flat tire last Saturday. Attempted, because I could not get those rusted bolts off!
anyways, she did have AAA, but it was just gonna be a long wait so I was hoping to help her get on her way quicker. To no avail.
It is no fun being stranded on your own. Even at least just checking in and making sure the person is OK or has help on the way goes a long way.
I will stop if there is an accident or a fire. Otherwise it is situational. I stopped about a year ago to assist a fellow RVer near the entrance to the campground, but mostly I won’t stop anymore
20+ years ago. It was pouring down rain. I was an LEO at the time, on duty. A little old lady had a flat. I changed it. It was a good day.
