What is to come

If the Senate toes the line and Trump’s picks that need Senate confirmation pass what do you think will transpire afterwards?

I’m sure there will be a lot of rumble and tumble. Loud speak and finger pointing. Unfortunately, my 65 years of experience tell me, not much will happen. Which is actually great, that’s a hell of a lot better than all of the trampling on our Liberties and force feeding us a weird agenda of sexuality that we’ve had for the last 12 years of left wing government.

@deranged  Even so, the Democrats ( :sob:) will try to sham any agendas going through the process and reaching the Senate, hopefully, whatever the agenda is, that it will pass a little easier in Trump’s 2.0 than during Trump 1.0, when Democrats (majority) were, overwhelmingly, going against/holding back/giving a hard time any agenda in attempts for Trump to MAGA, even so Trump made some good for America with what he could in his first term, and his second term will be much better to MAGA, with hopes that after the end of his term, that it will set up and continue a straight forward path for the Country in the right direction (hopefully) for THE NEXT NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA :us: “VANCE & VP Elect” :us:

I’d say the Dums will fight everything he does tooth and claw just like last time but things will be just a little different ( same only different, like they say) because a few and I mean a very few Dems realize that the country has finally said “ wooooaa ! You all are going a bit to far with this crazy WOKE crap and in our schools and our kids sports and everything else “ And a few will realize it but not many prolly not enuf to matter because liberal loons in politics or not will think he’s the bile of Satan and always will because their minds were hi-jacked and poisoned at a young age by poisoning teachers in school to the point that they wouldn’t know what a decent human being is if they were to trip over one.

A big fix of a lot of problems created by the last regime would be the ideal outcome.

How successful that might be depends on the follow through of the incoming administration overcoming the resistance of the old regime and its fans.

Time will tell.

We can help by continuing to voice our support for what we want our representatives to help the new admin. accomplish.

Like voicing our support asking our representatives to support national concealed carry reciprocity act be passed for example.

Pick your priorities and pet peeves and repeat that process.

Task our representatives to do their jobs.

We got their attention with getting our votes out.

Let’s keep their attention focused working for us.

We have that civic responsibility to task our representatives to represent us.

It’s our choice to make that work for us with a little effort like emailing our representatives occasionally.

Or, just sit back adrift and spectate and complain to each other about what is or is not happening, and how messed up everything is.

Now is the time for us to take back the stearing wheel, start stearing our government in the right direction.

Keep our representatives so bussy doing what we want that they have no time and energy to go off on tangents from doing what we want.

What we make of it will help greatly. Back in my day there was a school curriculum called civics. It covered among other topics about citizenship, how to be good functioning citizens, participating exercising your responsibilities like voting, and communicating with your representatives, not just being sideline spectators. Being a good citizen ment being an active citizen exercising your constitutional rights and freedoms, and not taking them for granted.

We have our part to play beyond just being glued to the idiot tube.

Gather your information and analyze it with your own critical thinking coming to your own conclusions.

Suggest your own bills, at least the rough idea: Like a National Concealed Carry Act bill, or if one like that exists, support, or encourage it, or suggest tweaking it.

Whatever you are passionate about be its champion and start a draft email to your representatives.

Have a template for each of your US Senators and your Congressperson,

Dear Honorable Last Name:

Have there contact information handy.

Finish editing your draft and send it.

If enough of us did that our representatives would know what concerns their constituents.

And, the issues that they get the most, greatest number of correspondence on, the greater priority and their attention, with a higher priority on their agenda.

We the People can issue our representatives their marching orders. Let them know what we want their attention on.

Not the lobbyists, or Special Interest PACs that wine and dine them.

Let them wonder if they are doing good enough a job for us to get re-elected, or not.

We have that power if we exercise it, or not, if we don’t.

The Legislative Process links to information about it:

That isn’t taught anymore. How many adults let alone soon to be adults know who their representatives are? A small percentage I’m sure. I’m not pointing any fingers either because I was too tied up in making a living and providing for my family I only cared about elections. As long as I could provide for the family and have some fun I was happy. Now that I’m retired I feel the need to write them and the internet has been a huge aide in doing so. It takes a small amount of effort to write them with huge outcomes for you to take the time. Not doing so is how we wound up with some thinking they are the ruling class and we are there servants.

I am hoping Trump builds a bridge between party lines. Then we can be United and MAGA.

If the country doesn’t Implode before Christmas (which it will) I believe
that some Demoncrats see the writing on the wall and say ‘We better not
try and Blanket refuse all Trumps Nominee’s…or else’.
Kash gets in the FBI Elite’s are sh!tting their pants already, from News reports
the Top Tier of the FBI that were involved in Trumps persecution are either looking for
another job in private sector Security or retiring. The big joke for me is these Criminals
KNOW if they stay they will be fired. Kash is already talking to former heads and retired
Agents who left after having impressive Careers behind BECAUSE of the current Corruptibles in Power.
A Lot when asked to come back have said YES! They want Kash to take a fxxking sledgehammer to the (7th) floor! (Just deserts in my humble opinion). They ‘Raid’ Mar-a-largo
embarrass and upset the Presidents Wife, ‘Plant evidence and persecute ‘The Donald’ for
the same things our current Liar in Chief did!’ It’s appalling WE THE PEOPLE aren’t calling for the upper Echelon’s (FBI) heads on pike’s! Pudding is doing EVERYTHING HE CAN TO SAVE HIS CRIME FAMILY (and we just take it) He WILL Pardon himself, his Brother and Sister (if not Cunter’s group of criminal friends before the door hits him in the Axx.)
Liar Biden is doing EVERYTHING HE CAN TO MAKE SURE THE DEMOCRATS NEVER GET THE BIG CHAIR AGAIN BEFORE HE LEAVES BECAUSE THE UNCEREMONIOUSLY KICKED HIM TO THE CURB. He’s a vindictive, hateful old man who KNOW’S Bye Bye LIBRARY, History will NOT be kind to him so he will implode the Demoncrats so it will take decade’s for them to recover.
This blanket pardon protects HIM too! His Junkie son can say ‘See! I was never a FELON’ and Pudding himself just protected the infamous 10% for the Big Guy payoffs. We all know he was in on the Traitorous Selling of the country, the INFLUENCE PEDDLING so huge that Great Great kids not even born yet will never have to work. The ONLY benefit I see is it will make it easier for Trump to get in and say ’ OK, every J6’er outta da Jail!’ and the Dem’s REALLY can’t say Boo!
But we now have to really look @ all the FFL’s who were knocked out of business for ‘Paperwork error’s’ and Folk’s who were Imprisoned for the same Offenses Cunter was Pardoned for…will that ever really happen—NOPE! Because the two tier Justice system proves everyday ‘WE DON’T MATTER’.
As for what I said in the beginning of this rant, there is a lot of talk going on about Cartel’s moving Military Grade Weapons across the Border in the last year, The Cartel’s have made ‘inroads’ intp Arizona, California and New Mexico (obviously a lot of Blu States also) but they do NOT want Trumps Presidency to start off with a bang! and he attempts his Mass Deportation plan. They have all the Politico’s in their pocket on both sides of the Border and they don’t want to give up the lucrative Migrant Express/Fentanyl highway disrupted so a lot of smart folk’s are predicting the massive Criminal element who Invaded us will be activated and it will send us into a tailspin. What they ARE saying in a positive way is that WE THE PEOPLE will have to step up and because after all the shenanigan’s we’ve been put through the last 4 years we are fed up. Well, that is obvious to me just reading your posts here and on other sites (I don’t belong to) They are warning us that they won’t wait until trump gets in, because he can then go scorched Earth on these bestards with the full might of the Military. The ‘Time of Transition’ they said? between finally fxxking leaving and Trump taking the Chair will be the best (worst for us) time to strike. And before you unload on me THINK ABOUT IT! WTF has Pudding done for this country EVER since he took power?— NOTHING. He’s weakened us in every area of Protection, He’s opened the flood gates to HE!!, he’s weaponized the DOJ/FBI against us…this would be a perfect time to hit us.
(I am now taking off my Tin Foil Hat) Please resume scheduled PROGRAMMING. (Think on this, it makes sense–do you think they are just going to hand over the keys to they Gravy Train without a fight?) NOPE!

I had a Political Science professor say it like this.
“When an administration changes less than 500 people loose their jobs and are replaced at the convenience of the incoming leader. Usually heads of Government Departments. Those are not the people that are governing, the people that are governing are the GS13’s the next gal down. She’s been there for 30 years, unseen and more important, unelected. You don’t know their name or their party affiliation. THEY have their collective thumbs on the Governments throat. Want to kill a policy? Loose it on your desk, or better still, go on vacation. God knows by then they’ve accumulated many months of PTO. They never change, they are career government employees. They have Way More Power than we give them credit for. And the worst thing about it, You Can’t Get Rid Of Them.”

You were not alone.

I was so busy I at times I could run into myself coming and going,

Other times I needed to clone myself to be beside myself.

Life not only was running me, it nearly ran me over.

I did get out and vote in most every election with rare exception on a few “off” years.

Never missing the 14 or so presidential elections in my time.

Since, registering to vote at age 18 for more than half a century plus.

Only since I retired have I more consistently engaged my representatives.

I did not take much time to do the either earlier.

But, now more than ever it seems more important, to the point of being necessary.

Collectively we voted and changed out this regime. After it got way too far out of hand.

Maybe, collectively we can help steer this new administration to maintain its lane a bit better, and not run out of bounds and get some better results than just being spectators, wishing that the bad movie would get better before it ends, like this last regime.

Not that they were the least bit interested in our input.

But, this administration has the promise of being more receptive to us, We the People than the last admin.

It’s got to be worth a little effort once in a while vs. posting here preaching to mostly to the choir and a few trolls exclusively.

The Dems lost any claim to the moral high ground.

Maybe we can reestablish a new bench mark for the moral high ground.

I would like to see as my first pet peeve to succeed at the adoption of a National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act pass congress to the President for his signature early in his new term.

I think he has a lot packed into his agenda that I already agree with and also would like to see succeed.

It might be hard to find much else to promote that is not already on that table.

But, I will look and compare for anything else.

A few well chosen issues might be better than a lot of frivolous ones.

I might be hard pressed to fine one a year let alone every other month (half-dozen a year for four-years would be two-dozen this term. That seems a bit ostentatious.

I’ll have to look and see what our agenda looks like going forward.

We may be supporting more Bills forthcoming from the floor of Congress / the White House than proposing new ideas of our own.

It will be nice to see bills that we can support vs. dread for a change.

Our support for any other 2A issues that got stifled this past four years would also be at the top of my list. Or, countering any overbearing restrictions.

I think that would be a good goal for this community.

First, I don’t think all of his appointements will get confirmed. Some are ridiculous. Like any toddler, Trump will push and push until Congress says no. How far that is, who knows. If Trump is going to use the FBI, CIA and Attoney General to go after people that say ‘no’, that’s a pretty big stick and will be the end of our democracy.

In one specific area, I expect food prices to skyrocket if Trump does what he says he will do. Between deporting hispanics and the Mexico tarriff, that pretty much kills the food industry. So Trump will make a big show of trying to deport people then find a scapegoat as to why he wants to do it but can’t. And he’ll claim the Mexico tarriff was just a negotiation tactic to get some concession from Mexico in other areas and then not do the tariff either.

P.S. If you think the oil and gas industry is powerful, wait until you see the food industry get motivated. The food industry is so powerful, you don’t even hear about them.

HOLD DA PHONE! One Second!
Does ANYONE else feel Trump is going for the actual ‘Migrant Workers’?
The Field folk’s, The Minimum wage Folk’s that DO the jobs no one else wants?
The Dishwashers, Bussers, Landscapers, Excellent field worker’s? I didn’t think so.
THE PLAN (if I glean it correctly) is go after the Terrorists, MS-13, Tren de Axxholes!, Cartel Cowboys etc
Stop the flow of INCOMING future thugs, Bike riding thieves, Rapists etc.
RAMPING UP THE FEAR POWDER ‘OH, he going after my Gardner!’ isn’t helpful.
Anyone whose LIVED in a Border State knows that these folk’s (ok, they may not be Legally here are Fa,ily Folk’s, hard worker’s who mostly keep their head down and send their money back to Meh-I-Co!. They’ve made the Trek many times! Some stay, save up the dinero to then send for the Familia. But @ $9,000 a pop most don’t/won’t do that–defeats the purpose of working here. But This Trump Administration KNOWS it’s friggin’ IMPOSSIBLE to round Every ILLEGAL up. What’s the Point?
Get the Fxxker’s who have ALREADY COMMITED CRIMES HERE (Bad ones), and were let go! by Soros DA’s to PLEASE COME BACK FOR YOU COURT DATE ON MURDER in 2029! RIGHT!
Sh!t-stoopid!.
RAID the apartment Complex’s over run by the Infestation, RAID the Shelters and JAILS—
If they RESIST? ‘Pick em off like Ducks!’ IF this country had ANY Foresight those FREE PHONES would be Detonated like the Israeli’s did GENIUS!
So, please understand the truly BAD GIY’S get the first Body Bags.

Personally, I’m not worried about what the Dems will do. Like dogs peeing on fire hydrants because it’s what dogs do, so Dems will build obstacles to Republican agendas because that’s what Dems do, regardless of whether or not that agenda is good for the people of the country.

I worry about those alleged Republicans who are more self centered like Mitch mcConnell, et al. that place their own agenda uppermost and have no idea how to present a united front for the betterment of the country.

That would be nice, but it’s hard to build bridges when those you are attempting to build them to are only experienced at blowing them up behind, under or before you.

If it was easy it probably wouldn’t be worth accomplishing.

If it’s impossible then you’re beating your head against the wall.
I feel like half the dang world lost its freaking mind since Covid. Not my job to help them find it, I just watch the crap from a distance these days.
