I think it will be easier to buy a new garden hose than to try and fix that one. ![]()

Sometimes $hit just happens and evidently a few grains slipped by somehow. Be grateful you only lost a gun.
I will say however that loss is devastating where your current state of your state is concerned. The Supreme Court needs to take up the Maryland case and put this all to rest. However I fear they are waiting until the Presidential election is over to do it. Too bad that politics has entered into the direction the Supreme Court navigates towards but evidently the conservative justices are as big a cowards as most Republican members of Congress.
Just glad ur good man
next time go for something better quality. ![]()
(no, Staccato is not making ARs
)
Missing out on a good thing there!
It would cost a couple of Bazzilion Bucks but man what piece it would be…
If Staccato produced a rifle… that would be the base model . ![]()

Thank God brother, I am glad to hear it Marine. Sorry it happened to you.
Did you recover the magazine or did it blow apart?
Now it’s an AR-10 ![]()
Try Tennessee, we find it’s great.
Retired. No income tax.
Just avoid the major metropolitan areas, and their congestion, or figure how to deal with that if you must for a job.
With the major metros, recommend that you live and work beyond the point where you can actually do the posted speed limit, not just crawl and stall, unless you can afford a nearby bedroom community with a real short commute to mitigate the traffic congestion.
We opted to stay well beyond their traffic congestion in a smallish city with its amnesties in reasonable proximity without the bigger city congestion.
Who needs to be stuck in aggravating time consuming traffic daily if you don’t have to.
It’s a pleasure not to be stuck in traffic.
Something you might want to consider @Todd30 , if you can establish your own restaurant in a small town and get known for good quality food people will come to you. The hard part is getting past the initial few years to get known as a good place to eat.
Edit: my wife says she can’t find a good place to eat in Oak Ridge.
@everyone After research and questions I or the gunsmith came up with I had a double feed. A round was in the chamber and the one behind it came out and fired with both rounds firing off. It was strong enough to blow the magazine out and break the bolt and warp the magazine chamber and bolt housing. The round in the chamber fired at the same time the round behind it went off. No fingers were hurt, amazingly.
Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
I had an ATI 1911 that double fed but only one round went off, I was very fortunate
Was it a mechanical failure that needs to be sent to Ruger’s attention?
Good question. I believe the fact I was reloading the rounds that it might not be warrantied.
So, I guess I should have read the instructions!
