It sure wouldn’t be the first time that racking the slide
resulted in a Jammed weapon. I’d suggest a good handgun
With a Manual Safety. Kitties would have great difficulty in
Both disengaging the Safety AND stepping on the trigger.
The slight noise of pushing the Safety Off is much less than
Racking Any slide or pump etc.
