No, it was a fact check.
So you believe it’s okay for Iran to have nukes?, because i don’t, nor does anyone i know.
So you believe 11 yr old drag queens are good?..i know i don’t.
So you believe Stormy Daniels is a national treasure?..i know i don’t.
But if you don’t, and I don’t, then who does, who are these “people”?. Surely there ARE those who disagree, but who’s to say who’s right…you…Me…I think not.
Fact is, i never said if i was right or wrong, you’re taking a low road when you insinuate that and are trying to get me on that same path, i will not.
What I AM saying is, because there are people that DO NOT believe and/or agree with these statements in this post, that is what makes them NOT “right on”.

How little we need to find so big differences in people’s thoughts… 
Can I be more controversial? 
I had lived in communist Country for almost 20 years… believe, maybe it wasn’t great time, but NONE of things listed by @ES16 existed in my Country.
Sometimes I’ve got weird afterthoughts: Is my current life better? Is this what I really wanted? Economically yes. But mentally? I’m not sure. Everything my Parents taught me had to face different reality. The list made by @ES16 shows there is no perfect place… Perhaps it was better to sacrifice freedom to and live the “other” life without all these listed things ?
Yeah, like I mentioned… weird afterthoughts…

There are points I agree with both you and @ES16 and points that I disagree with both of you.
I think much of what ES16 originally posted was opinion so not subject to “fact check” but definitely subject to challenge.

Reading the comments above. Nowhere in the orginal post was there any indication that most people felt a certain way about any of the points.
I read the post that these are things/points that people are actually debating. When you look at the points made there has been significant main stream media coverage on these points of view. It’s not personal nor is it intended to provide factual information towards a specific point. However it is true that these are things that have been debated on a big stage thru the media.

I think that’s the challenge with posts sometimes @Sheepdog556, sort of like emails, a lot of things can be read into them by one reader while another reader has a completely different take (can’t tell you how many times I’ve retyped an email before sending to ensure it wasn’t misinterpreted, and it was still taken the wrong way, lol).
From my perspective (and that’s all it is, is mine) I read it as a list of “facts/data” to support the position that we’re living in a “bizarre” world.
But I agree with your final conclusion that they are a list of issues that are being debated currently in the mainstream media.
I think making to ES16’s point many of those things just a few decades back would not have been “debatable” but would have been “common sense.” But to other posters’ points, things change, society changes and as such these issues are being re-examined through new lenses and I think it’s interesting because I think the pendulum has swung the other way now where some of those issues are viewed as “common sense” the other way.

I’m going to be real clear here and factual, criminals are being set free, defenders of our right to life are being jailed and our government is denying us the right to self protections! FACT check governors actions in many states that don’t care about life.
Inflammatory rhetoric is outrageous, but harassing people in restaurants is virtuous. FACT check Maxine Waters
illegals aren’t required to show ID, but citizens can’t buy cough medicine without it. FACT check DNC and your local pharmacist
Doctors and Engineers who want to immigrate must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-banger who jumps the southern fence is welcome. FACT check any sanctuary city.
Illegals don’t pay taxes, but they get tax refunds. FACT check IRS and your own paystub.
FACT check all you want, changes are ok when they are not shoved down my throat. FACT check Sexualizing children is bad, but 11-year-old drag queens are good. I don’t need Big Bird Promoting what I don’t wish for my kids. There are morals and ethics we are trying to instill in our children’s minds that which will KEEP AMERICA GREAT and safe.
This is the United States of AMERICA you either assimilate to our way of thinking and doing things and the common language we speak follow our laws and respect the office of the presidency or get the &# out.
The world we are living in now was not envisioned by any of us, if you truly believe in socialism I’ll pay for your ticket to Venezuela! I hear the dog is good this time of year.
Everything listed above got us right where we are at this moment in time. Including the thousands more not listed. FACT check Communist Chinese Virus. Made in China!
Keep in mind one last fact, when socialists take over you won’t have the ability to do any fact checking. The truth will be what they say it is and you will have no right to disagree. So FACT check your freedoms now, you or we may never see them again. In my humble opinion.

Because Maxine Waters made a stupid comment does NOT make “harassing people in restaurants virtuous”…that’s ridiculous.
I buy cough medicine all the time, NO I.D required…also not true!
You say they MUST, but no they don’t, they can “jump the southern fence” too…not just “gang bangers” and vice-versa…so this is also not completely true.
I am born and raised here in America, and so were my ancestors, been part of this soil before it was even America to be honest…But you want to tell ME to leave. No bud, it might actually be time for YOU to leave sir, since you are so disgruntled. Things are changing, your “our way of thinking” mentality is outdated and going extinct, there is a new OUR way of thinking. Your way has divided this country beyond recognition, OUR way is to RE-UNITE this country. Indivisible and justice for ALL.

Hey brother (I’m a former airman as well), relax…we’re a big country and a big board and we have lots of different opinions…debating these different opinions is what makes our Country great (it’s been going on since 1776).
We don’t have to agree with what everyone posts…it would be pretty boring Country if we were all exactly the same with exactly the same opinion. Don’t even get me started with sports teams. 
I think I’ve made my point, we don’t agree and that’s fine, everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion. Let’s just try to stick to facts when giving opinions in public communities and/or forums, rhetoric and misleading information is irresponsible and apparently contagious.
@ES16 i would ask that you stay part of OUR community, it belongs to all of us. Yes at times we will disagree and that’s okay, as long as we remain respectful towards each other. Through conversation comes knowledge, understanding, and maybe even some compassion towards one another.
DIVISION will be our demise, but UNITY can be our salvation.

Opinions don’t make a truth or falsehood, no more than majority of scientists believing Sun goes around the Earth changed planet orbits.
If you consult an MD, they will tell you a disease has a dynamic and an outcome. No dynamic or outcome -it’s not a disease. Suicide as a highly probable outcome makes a pretty serious disease. Complicated surgery and drug treatment required to prevent an outcome like this is a testament to this.
