That is good to know! They make NFL players pay fines for wearing something God-related but you get accolades for kneeling in our anthem on some made-up crap.
Evidence: As a delinquent juvenile the police did not show any favor to skin color nor did they, my black friends (The police were all color and creeds) We all got equal punishment based on “age.”
Anyways off my rant! I just hate when our country is displayed as oppressive && the worst part it’s from within!!!
I watched that video yesterday. I was like “that’s ridiculous & shameful.” But, Colion Noir hit the nail on the head. Passionate language too. Bro was heated. The NFL has found a way to make me give up watching my 49ERS in the Super Bowl. Your social engineering (NIKE & NFL) won’t work!
I agree. I think his agenda though is to gather Delegates to the Electoral College, and then use them and his “Daddy Warbucks” money. To extract some concessions from whoever the front runner turns out to be, in exchange for his “support”.
I’ve been an NFL junkie all my of 71 years. But when Kapernick did his thing I was discusted especially when the NFL backed him. Then Nike did their thing with him. Well, that was the end of my football watching. I did do some backsliding and would watch the Super Bowl until this year when the NFL did it’s thing with the 2A commercial. I sure as heck don’t want to watch Bloomhead so now the Super Bowl is out too. And ALL of my neighbors feel the same way!!
Bloomberg may not win the election, but all that money he spends on ads has downstream effects to other national, state, and local elections. He keeps putting “common sense” in every ad, and pretty soon all the people who don’t bother to do any research start thinking about “common sense” and they will tie it into other candidates downstream who also say “common sense”. The last number I saw was he’d spend over $220M in ads so far, and he’s only been in the race since what… November? And that doesn’t even count the dollars he’s poured into other Dem races and various PACs like Everytown.
I am more than upset (angry) about certain advertisements regarding gun safety and firearms training was banned during the Superbowl. Front Sight Firearms Training Institute had three (3) commercials slotted during the Superbowl and not one of them were aired! Obviously we were advertising our Second Amendment Rights, but this is also an infringement on our First Amendment Rights! When I found this out I was more than upset about the hypocracy that goes on throughout the main stream media. My wife and I were at a friend’s house watching the game, which is the only NFL game I watched this whole season. The reason is as many others have posted. In addition, while sitting in the waiting room at my doctor’s office they had CNN on and they are only showing these liberal Democrats bashing our President. How can we allow this to happen? Is the First Amendment only provided to these idiots and it doesn’t for anyone who disagrees with them? We have to stand up and fight for rights in order to save our country.
As far as the presidential campaigns are concerned, to have allowed a campaign commercial to be aired during the Superbowl is crap! I am confident that President Trump will win re-election. He is always in my prayers, but we can’t just sit back and think the right thing will happen. It is paramount that we ban together and vote these treasonous individuals out of office! They are not representing us, they are only pushing their on agenda for their personal gain, which they are accusing our President of doing.
Thank God we have resource like the USCCA (and others) that lead and help us defend our Constitution. I appreciate all of you who post your opinions.
Devils advocate here,
A television station refusing one viewpoint over another, is not a violation of our 1st Amendment rights. The government can not limit our free speech. A privately owned entity, can discriminate against what they air on their channel. I don’t agree with the likes of Bloomberg by a long shot(never gonna happen), but it is the Fox broadcasting network, and NFL’s prerogative who they sell air time to on their network.
As annoying as it is to only see one side, you are correct and we have to support their right to say what they want… unless it’s hate speech. I don’t think they’ve crossed the line to hate speech, just dislike speech at this point.
I totally agree that what they did was not illegal in respect to the law. They only gave time to one side. It used to be that equal time was given to provide other view points. The First Amendment provides for freedom of speech and they chose one side. I was disappointed in Fox as they chose not to accept the advertisement from an organization that supports the Second Amendment and gave air time for a political candidate, who doesn’t agree with that view point. I am.just giving my opinion on what transpired and wished it would have been handled differently. Giving equal time would have been ideal, but it didn’t happen that way. Just as I have the right not to watch something if I don’t wish to.
Thank you for your post as I appreciate hearing everyone’s view and giving additional inputs.
Agreed. Hence the not watching of the NFL at my house. When an organization sides with those who fight to destroy my protected rights, I do what I can to not funnel any of my meager financial resources to their business.
And maybe just remind them, if ill of us the speak
That we are that stand, between the Monsters and the Weak.
