Just for conversation sake, anyone still have a classic PP series Walther in their rotation?
I have a Fort Smith PPK in the melonite finish and an Interarms PPK in stainless. Both in .380. I bought them as a Bond fan, not intending to carry unless I was in dress clothes.
Turns out I love the feel of them and Im pretty damn accurate with them so they are my primary EDCs now.
My Shield Plus is now for when Im going to what I perceive as a more dangerous place/situation or when Im working outside, sweating all over it.
My Interarms PPK/S. It’s a 1970s model I bought used. In perfect condition and sometimes I carry it as a CCW weapon. A little heavy, but just a great gun.
Prior to S&W extending the beaver tail, a change Walther kept, the PP series guns were notorious for slide bite. I have to be really careful how I grip my Interarms one or it slices right through me. I have a scar where I learned this lesson.
