Of course no one is going to do anything about it but if anyone does it will be the president elect but it seems to me that as soon as Hairless started paying all kinds of money to the movie stars and musicians and talk show host or anyone that didn’t need the money she using their audience’s and their fame to buy votes that is supposed to be illegal right? I mean these people are filthy rich IDK if anyone knows what Oprah is worth but Bruce Springstein said on a interview a few weeks ago that he “ is now a billionaire “ ( don’t know how that happened) but she was paying celebrities to buy votes from their fans and them to plain and simple and she should be clapped in irons and perp-walked to the hooskaw!

@Gary343 ,I wasn’t even talking about that but since you mentioned it that’s a way of buying votes also but I didn’t think of it because they have been barking on that crap for four years now and haven’t done anything as far as I know but IDK really and there’s plenty of graduates out there that have paid off their loans thru hard work

I don’t think what you are talking about is buying votes. Buying vote it paying someone to vote or not vote. Spending money to campaign is part of the process. Spending money is not giving money to the voter like the tuition forgiveness.

Politics has devolved into a popularity contest with people pouring their time, talent and treasure into the candidate they believe will do the most to enrich them (aka "crony capitalism’ or ‘political capitalism’).
I suspect that Elon Musk, for example, is engaged with the Orange man to protect his company from Chinese EVs and wants to ensure that the 100% tariffs remain in place. He also has an economic interest in protecting the government gravy train that flows to his Space X ventures.
Movie stars (people who make a living pretending to be somebody else), singers and comedians (people who make a living singing songs and telling jokes) want to be seen with the candidate who attracts their target audience of young people who spend money on their ‘products.’ More exposure = more popularity = more money.
