You listen too much to the media. They are put in communities where they can fit in. I have read the book, none of it is worth anything in if one doesn’t have love. All one has to do is listen to their conscience.
G-d hates the hate we have for other people. G-d made us in his image. We can agree to disagree if you want. He made us all different and we all have our purpose. We see things differently. That is okay. We can still be friends. We are adults. That was the purpose of my post. I know all about people murdering other people. I am Israeli. I got back from Israel a few days ago. It is all good. There still needs to be a lot of healing, love will lead the way. It seems to me @General_Consensus “extended the olive branch” to you, won’t you show him what we are made of.
This is true; it is filled with many Christians and other believers who have died in the name of their God. This is not just a Christian dilemma. After all, I am not a believer, and yet you have persecuted me. So no, it isn’t relegated to just your faith. The easy way out is to now call me the devil, which I can assure you I am not; if for no other reason, I would have much, much more. I am just another human being with a different skill set and beliefs.
Why did so many join in WW1 and WW2? I like to think of it as the control the media had on people back then or to go back even further to the way the word was spread, like during the Crusades. Couple that with how naive people were in those times, and God knows they like to mimic today. Less exposure to things makes you more susceptible to someone’s BS. In both Germany and the USA, propaganda was state-controlled, something that is far harder to do today. Look how long it took the true facts about Vietnam to reach the people.
I agree, like pedophiles. Do keep in mind, though, that your God was busy washing the feet of sinners. Those who, in their current state of mind, would not receive his bounty. So you can approach this from either side. If you wish to see this is the true freedom of choice he granted you. You can, by his doctrine, either choose to hate or love people. Do keep in mind failure in doing this correctly will cost you your soul. So are you ready to play God with your soul. Matthew 7:1-3: It is his alone to judge others.
This I define as a self-fulfilling prophecy: you will find whatever you are looking for. Much like racial divide, you can find it in everything if this is all you wish to see.
Sadly, in doing so, you might just miss out on all the good that is being achieved around you by other humans.
On this, please keep in mind Jesus went to Golgotha with full knowledge that he was going to die. Tantamount to stepping out in front of a moving vehicle. Suicide is defined as death caused by self-inflicted injury with the intent to die as a result of that behavior. It is the act of intentionally ending one’s own life.
I wonder if Jesus would be called a Troll today by the patriots here. He did say a lot of unconventional things back then.
You know this was a point I made in one of my talking points.
If this is somehow directed at me, you know right off it is a false narrative. All you have to do is ask yourself why I seem to know so much about the Bible or other religious texts, and also that of history. I listened to the things people have said and read quite a bit on my own. Then I made up my own decision based on what I thought was more likely or provable.
Yes, I have stated I do not believe the BS that is used to control you. I call it just as I see it. This is about the doctrine you choose, not to do with the person who chooses it. I have watched intelligent people do stupid things and have pointed it out. This in no way means they are stupid. Again, I am just sharing my perspective; you are free to choose your own. Hopefully you will share your perspective, or, as the Christians say, minister too, or break bread.
If you are going to be intolerant of others’ behavior, then you will never receive the gifts of the person you pray to. Again, Jesus didn’t wash the feet of the Pharisees but that of the sinners.
To reiterate, I am only putting to question why you believe this. Not the person who believes them. I support your right to do so. I also pointed out some other things that might have contributed to why things may have taken place.
LOL Just because I don’t believe it doesn’t mean there is not some good teaching in it. Some of my friends tell me I am a closet Christian. I live my life well; I think that is why my Christian friends like me so much. It is why I like talking about it, hoping to glean something I might have missed or forgotten.
For the cheap seat. No, I do not think I am Jesus or God or a Ghost.
What about the spirit of Jesus. Jesus says,” where two or more are gathered in my name there am I amongst them”. We both mentioned his name so his spirit was in you.
Most people would be shocked by what the rest of Matthew 7 says, especially about people who claim to be followers of Jesus but don’t have a relationship with Him (verses 21-23).
Yeah, I really botched that one. Thanks, By the way, nice to have you post. It has been 5 months since you last posted. Glad I could bring you out of hiding.
