The thing I saw that could get him caught is that he apparently was seen on camera shortly before the shooting tossing a coffee cup in the trash, and they’ve recovered that cup. It’ll have his DNA, I’m sure.

Facial recognition software can do a lot with the image they have. The bridge of his nose in relation to his eyes and forehead provide significant identification data.

Still very much a hit by someone who actually took the time to practice his moves. BUT, lots of mistakes in execution so not a pro. The stuff engraved on the cases says emotional involvement. So they got his pics, his DNA and possibly a phone he used. He was dressed in a distinct outfit, jacket, not a “normal” cheap daypack that should all be easily identifiable.
He’s toast…

Organized crime hit? I receive beaucoups calls every single day from scammers (organized criminal enterprises) claiming to want to give me info about Medicare Advantage and supplemental plans, of which UnitedHealthCare is one. Big bucks get sent to health insurance companies by these scammers who cold call millions every single day. I’d start an investigation by asking whether UnitedHealthCare got cross-wise with one of those organized criminal gangs who push business to them. But, it may also be as simple as the shooter was a disgruntled employee fired by UnitedHealthCare for any number of reasons.
Nose looks very much to his left, perhaps from being broken.

I’m not soo certain that’s the same person, coat seems a different color and no backpack.
Maybe if I can see the video of this person putting the backpack on and exiting I might buy it
Edit, as more details have come out, those pictures are from well before the shooting, and lighting could explain the colors.
