If you find carrying around a belt-ax like anESTWINGa galling weight, and need one only for light chopping duties, look at the REAPR “Versa” multi-tool ax, or COGHLAN’S “Pack AX” for an answer. The “Versa” is a modern version of the “crate” or “box” hatchet, designed for the British tea-trade. The pry-bar/nail-puller is at the butt-end of the shaft. This comes in 420 stainless, with molded TPR grips, and a pretty good nylon sheath. The COGHLAN’S ax has been around for decades. It’s 10” long with a broad, 4” cutting edge in hand-forged, satin-finished SK-5, and an overmolded TPR grip with finger-grooves. The nylon sheath covers the entire head, with a large velcro-flap closure. FYI
