While the process is still happening today, the rate of new oil formation is far slower than the rate at which humans extract it, making it considered a non-renewable resource.
Look i love energy. Just think what the world would be like if all our energy needs where met. For everyone on the planet this means everyone standard of living would increase.
Everyone on the planet has access to power. This mean possible more food, fresh water. you will have the power needed to make a lot of things possible that just are not currently. Look in America we grow grass in the desert for golf courses …
As a civilization in order to progress we need to meet needs… Power is one of them and the way we do it is important in the long run … Oil is fine for now, just like the horse was for many years… Look where innovation has enriched our lives today … We have horses now for fun . Hopefully oil with suffer the same fate . Give way to something better … Then we can use oil just for fun too

A hundred years ago, everyone had at least an old beater horse to haul himself and his stuff around. Meantime cars were expensive toys for the rich.
Nowadays everyone has at least a beater car to get around in and horses are playthings for the rich.

I have heard this line since the late 60s. Same as the arctic ice cap, the ozone hole, there will be a nuke war ending all life and any other number of things. I’m not an expert, never claimed to be one. All I know is that I’ve heard more BS in my life to scare people into buying the latest solution. I’m not saying we shouldn’t look but all I’ve see in my life is a truck load of shyte that ends up being worse than what it was supposed to fix.so a certain few will get richer by gubment mandates and media hype.

BP also made a documentary in 1990 that explained the greenhouse effect and the consequences of climate change… Yes oil companies were leading the way in climate change back then … Why money , To protect their investments. They recognized they would have to build the oil platforms a little high and sturdier . To weather the coming change…

What has changed is the rate in which it is heating up. It is doing it faster . If you study the charts you will see a recent increase. Like humans getting taller faster then ever before … Is it because we have more abundant food supply so people are getting the nutrients they need or is it the growth hormones or GMO’s … Either way it is happening …

Nether does it make your position a reality. All the oil wells in TX and OK that were said to be dry all of a sudden are producing again. Yes I think you can run a well dry but I also think it doesn’t take millions of years for them to be refilled. What did it take for all the wells in TX and OK to start producing again, 50 years and a new drilling technique.
Hell scientists have been caught red handed faking climate change but the loonies keep banging that drum. All scientists can do is make a best guess until another one comes along with a better guess. Sheeple just keep going bahahaha.

I have often said to individuals, I feel like i am living in a modern day Rome … Still the same old corrupt Senate … Sadly people have not evolved much, only technology … People are still the same old repugnant self consumed anal sphincters they have always been … Yet I still hold out hope for us to someday catch up with our technology… If we don’t it will replace us too …

I think it’s genetics. Otherwise explain why there are African people that are taller than the normal human. To top it off they haven’t changed their diet in hundreds of years.
Marathon runners used to carb the night before the race and then one group started eating more protein going against the conventional norm. Now most marathon runners have switched to proteins over carbs for energy.scientists are only as smart as their last mistake.

Thank you for helping me with my point about windmills (new drilling techniques) … Think about this if we try to supply everyone’s needs for energy just with oil… Talking about the whole planet . We will run out . Again i am not a treehugger . We need to find more equitable forms of power … If we wish for our species to progress technologically … Oil will not get us to the stars… I like the amish but i do not want to live like them. I embrace tech .
To address the misleading comments from individuals … As long as money is involved or power to pursue there will always be people lining up on both side to push their agendas … Again as a species we still have a lot of evolving to do …

How do you know? You don’t and scientists get things wrong every plucking day. I said we humans shouldn’t stop looking but at the same time we can’t shoot our selves in the foot. Eco nuts don’t want anything except what they agree with. They want to send us back to the 1800s.
As I’ve tried tell you, providing electricity to the entire planet isn’t going to solve anything humans do to each other. If you think giving electricity to every person on this planet will change things, you need to put that pipe down and stop living in that pipe dream.

Yes Africans are taller just like Asians are shorter … What has changed with both of them is the rate in which they are getting taller. Yes nutrition helps but you can’t leave out genetics. People in cold places are larger because the body keeps warmer than a skinny body. Asians people have been an agricultural society for centuries and they haven’t change very much at all. You get the anonymity every now and then but if the genes aren’t there, you aren’t going to change a group of individuals in height or size. They will max out at some point and unless the genetics change neither is the race of people.

Oh i agree with you … Hell no… I do not want to give up my cushy lifestyle… I said earlier oil is fine for now but we need to keep looking. Do i think wind is it … Probably not. Harnessing fusion maybe . Dark matter maybe.
One of my big contentions is how as a species we have not evolved … We still are the same petty, murderous, greedy excrementheads , we have always been to one another…My hopes are that is basic needs are met . Humanity might pursue loftier goals … Don’t make me break out my 'I have a dream speech "

This country was founded on individual effort and ideas. Some regulations are needed to keep a society peaceful but giving power to every person on this planet AIN’T going to bring about the dream world you’re fawning over.
