You can ID as flip flop for all I care but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with it. I judge by what is written and said. I’m very glad you enjoy those things but again giving electricity to every single person on this planet ain’t going to change things. If anything it might make them worse. More pollution, countries like China not giving a shyte about climate they have also polluted their farmland to where nothing is healthy to eat, that floating island of pollution grows every day, micro plastics in our food. Now multiply that by an unknown number and there goes the whole planet.

LOL ok now you put down the lefty hand book … Yes it is sad plastics are in everything … There are two great plastic islands out there in both major oceans the one in the Pacific is now the size of Texas.
With everyone on the planet getting energy … What i mean by this is if all our energy needs are met you can grow food and make life easier. As technology has so far in the industrial nations . Technology has bailed us out so far … Why i say invest in new things . It might take a thousand tries as it did edison to figure it out . But i am hopeful that we can find the answers …
Did you know we have depleted oxygen in some parts of the ocean with runoff and wastewater …Yes we have figured out a way to drown fish … 
Because of hypoxia … To me discussing this stuff is not a left or right thing. It is a human thing we all have some roll in what has happened.

Oil… watched a PBS video years ago about deep undersea rov’s…
something told me to record it but I didn’t… turns out I should have…
as the first night of it showing something very interesting was shown and said…
the next time it aired that part was MISSING!!!
the rov came on a undersea chimney blowing out a black substance…
took a close up with magnification on high… the black stuff was microbes spewing out and dying…
and becoming this black ooze…
the rov was equipped with sample taking apparatus… a sample was taken and sent to a lab…
the lab report returned with the report… the substance was CRUDE OIL…
NOTE: have heard reports from oil well workers that some of the old wells have REFILLED???
the claims of dino’s being oil is… the oil filled up the area due to slightly softer soil around them???

Some years ago I had an interesting discussion — well, he discussed. I listened because what I know about the topic you could write in large letters on your thumbnail. Anyway, he said he was a scientific writer and had been commissioned to write an article about how horrible nuclear power was. He said he very willingly undertook the assignment because he wa of the thought that nuclear power was evil in itself. He said to his surprise, his research showed him that he was completely wrong. He said he now was of the opinion that the real answer to our energy problems was nuclear power — nuclear fusion, not nuclear fission. Yeah, I didn’t know the difference either. Still am not real positive that I have the difference crystal clear in my muddled mind. He listed all the benefits of nuclear fusion which I can’t recall this many years later but they were many as compared to nuclear fission. One of the biggies that I remember is no radioactive waste.
Of really interesting note is that just this week Japan Broadcasting Corporation announced that the Japanese demonstration nuclear fusion plant going on line has been delayed from 2025 to 2030. I guess they haven’t figured out how to control the really big bang that goes along with nuclear fusion so far. So if this guy was correct and he certainly sounded like he had done his homework to me, nuclear fusion is the gasoline of the future. We will still need a pile of crude oil for all the products that are made with petroleum and they all don’t make engines go. They are used in cosmetic, medicine, food products (including food production) I certainly don’t have a list of everything that we use that is made from petroleum but it probably would burn this website out if I could list them all.

The difference is fission is the atom bomb … fusion is the sun … You are right no left over radioactive material to dispose of… both give off radiation however … The problem with fusion is it burns so hot containment is the problem … Once it starts it goes till it is out of material . Also if there is a leak of tritium . It penetrate about everything . If i remember right they thought about a magnetic containment field . There is no place i know of even trying to test it .

There are substitutes for petroleum based oils for some uses. Synthetic engine oil is selling very well.
Canola (rapeseed) oil was originally an engine lubricant. The plant had to be modified to produce oil usable for cooking. During WW2 machine guns were lubed with jojoba bean oil since it withstands high temperatures and has a very good shelf life. There are probably many more lubricants from renewable sources but currently we need petroleum or people will starve. At this time we can not grow enough food to feed the population using other sources of power.

Then came the promise of America. The Bill of Rights. And we thought no more tyrants and big governments and war machines to f’ us all over again. The First and Second Amendments to keep the evil at bay.
But we only succeeded in creating a bigger and better tyrant, a bigger and bloodier parasite. The biggest and the bestest, matter of fact. We need to fix this.

This is HIGHLY impossible considering the mass of the planet. Besides, where did the materials come from to make concrete? I doubt is was from the opposite side of the planet.
People need to think carefully about the physics of what they say. I do agree that there is climate change. As for how much is human caused, most likely little compared to the all the active volcanoes. Human’s biggest impact is TRASH - micro plastics, etc.

Space… the final testing facility. Fusion containment is not only the heat and pressure, but gravity is another issue. I have been thinking on this for decades and space would be the best location. The next problem is conveying the energy back to the surface. Not a big fan of the high energy microwave concept; think of what would happen if it is mis-directed? What about interference such as an aircraft or even cloud cover?

I question these sources as there is really no definitive history of how the earth’s rotation acted in the past, ie. hundreds if not thousands of years. We only know the last 30 to 40 years at most due to the instrumentation we sent up in satellites.
If you look at the percentage of mass relative to the earth as a whole, it is very miniscule. Any lop-sidedness is probably nature doing its own thing.
As for magnetic pole moving, again, it is not the Chinese or anybody since we have a fluid core that science still does not fully understand.
I agree it is why i started with (some now believe) I do not believe there is enough Empirical Evidence yet .
