Some interesting discrepancies in the news this morning. According to FBI (and they never lie) the alleged perp was hiding in the bushes since approximately 0200. Yet according to Trump aides he didn’t decide to go golfing until just before he actually left for the club. The perp is clairvoyant? Trump incidentally told someone on his staff that he felt like he might go golfing the next day and that someone is a mole? The rifle now is an SKS “type” rifle not an AK. The picture isn’t clear enough for me to determine that it is an SKS. It doesn’t appear to be an AK type. Most folks today probably were not alive during the J. Edgar days at the FBI where the agents spent most of their time investigating personal foibles of folks in the District of Corruption so that J. Edgar could blackmail them to get what he wanted for the FBI, including laudatory comments in the press. I smell an oder in the air and it has the stink of J. Edgar on it.

I still want to know how the body armor plates hanging on the fence didnt send off alarms, but one guy seen a muzzle?
Im sorry, if i was an agent and i seen stuff like that hanging off a fence of a golf course where a former pres (and hopefully next), a flag or 2 would be thrown.

The crap hanging on the fence, being not normal should be easier to see than a muzzle. They say there was brush, must not have been to thick to see a barrel

I agree.
My “editorial comment” is this guy just demonstrated through a dry run; how easy it is to get within 500 yards of this President. A real sniper, probably from overseas (faux illegal alien?) could be sent to the USA soon.
This guy (Routh) will fade from the newspapers, get off on a technicality or get 1 year at Fed. minimum security Allenwood and then released after “doing his time.”
