Trump is 'safe' after gunshots near his Florida golf club, campaign says

A spokesperson for Donald Trump’s campaign says he is safe after gunshots were heard while he was at his Florida Golf Club.

“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time," said Steven Cheung, Trump campaign communications director.

The shooting occurred near Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida, according to sources familiar with the matter. Trump happened to be at the club at the time.

The Secret Service said in a statement that it’s working in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to investigate “a protective incident involving former President Donald Trump that occurred shortly before 2 p.m. [ET]. The former president is safe.”

A spokesman for the sheriff’s department said, “we do have a potential suspect” and said it would hold a news conference Sunday afternoon.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were briefed on the “security incident at the Trump International Golf Course,” the White House said in a statement Sunday.

“They are relieved to know that he is safe. They will be kept regularly updated by their team,” the White House added.

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham posted to X, formerly Twitter, that he had spoken to the former president and that he was “in good spirits and he is more resolved than ever to save our country.”

“We don’t know much about the person. No on line presents, no criminal record. Arrested his dad for being a gun owner. Not sure what his intent was and we don’t know if he was working alone…”.

There, I wrote the report for them.

“They are relieved to know that he is safe”. No they are not!
They are the ones who want him dead!
Follow the money, oh, that’s right, it’s an ongoing investigation!

I am not suggesting that there is a connection, but the suspect’s surname, Routh, sounded very familiar. Took me a bit to place it: same as the person convicted in the murders of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield.

Whew :exclamation:It’s a good thing it wasn’t one of those black high powered AR-15 type weapons of war! With an extended banana like clip that holds thousands of magazines!

It was just an AK-47, not that that represents anything warlike!
It’s not like it’s proudly displayed on a National flag

FBI and USSS calling it an attempted killing of Pres. Trump now. Suspect is caught. Ryan Wesley Routh is his name. Big time Jew and Israel hater according to some of his blogs. I’ll bet obiden, knee pads and tampon are just crying their eyes out. No doubt, like the last time, the cocaine in the White House and all the rest we’ll never hear another thing. Except for the targeting of “assault weapons” by the lefties.

One last thing, trust me i got many more thoughts but…

Im sorry, but i dont believe a SS agent seen a few inches of a barrel sticking through a chain link fence. They didnt notice and investigate body armor plates hanging but dang it, they seen the muzzle?

The way our feds are being run and how they are afraid of trump. How can it not be an inside job? 2nd attempt so far? Unheard of.

Iran?

We all know they don’t want Trump in office! They’d loose their democrat cash cow!

ISIS exploded under Obama, and vanished within a few months of Trumps administration!

Now that the democrats have been at the wheel for the last 4 years,… guess who’s back!
