Is there any reasonably priced option, on a large plot of land, to have a solar powered trail cam and outdoor long range wifi extender to capture nightime pics/video of wildlife by motion detection?
My searches aren’t turning up much useful info.

It all seems a bti sticky to me. Looks like they’re going the way of cell data plans on most…so you have to use the data to know if you want the video/pics. Harumph. I’ll keep hunting for something else (although the plans are…cheap) like what I expected, which was to download via bluetooth when I am in the area. I’m probably wrong about wanting that!

Add for this popped up in my inbox last week, maybe not exactly what you want, just figured I’d toss it up.
My hope is that in the next 60 days or so, we’ll get a 6’-8’ wide just under a mile of trails cut on a 12 acre property. I’d like to mount a few cameras out there. They’ll need to be self sufficient (battery/solar) and they hold only so much, so I’ll need to be able to view/download/delete images/video. I’m surprised at how small the memory cards for them are and expect that I’ll need to buy much larger cards if they work like the dash cams (write over the oldest for the newest). We’ll see! I have time to shop…and hope to find some deals.
