If you have a crack (or weak spot in your armor) the bad guy or 5yr. old will find it.
I think he has everyone’s welfare in mind.
Did he say: “I haven’t seen this with a Staccato type…” ???
All these issues can be solved by using the proper , good quality duty holster.
Unfortunately not everybody is willing to spend $150 and more for such gear…
Hear you.
I’ve not used holsters when even a little bit of the trigger guard stuck out if it - I much prefer more coverage/better fit, that way the actual trigger is protected/covered.
Retention strength can vary quite a bit from model to model.
Take advantage of tightening or loosening those side screws, and inspect/adjust them periodically as over time, they can get loose.
Find that sweet spot/Goldilocks fit for you, so as you can still pull it out yourself the very first try, but tight enough that a second person has a hard time.
Smart: When testing, like they did, on an empty chamber, no mag, when they ran the second person pull test.
Handgun must have a good retention and friction and it should be perceptible while drawing.
This way you know there is no way the handgun can be drawn by somebody from behind.
