Hearing stories like that fire me up. Why does it have to be like this? I have a group of us heading up to Boone, NC tomorrow morning to work with Samaritan’s Purse. It’s a large organization, but it will help me get my foot in the door to meet other people. My goal is to meet connections that can get me back in the woods further to locations untouched. Those are the people suffering. A friend of mine has a son who is a LEO. One of his co-workers, who was deployed with his unit in the National Guard, has been updating the rest of the force daily. They are stationed in Burnsville. His first text back said that the news is worse than what the news crews are even saying. Yesterday, Oct. 2, they flew 400 bodies out. Supply trucks are being held at gunpoint so residents can get needed supplies. The Guard unit actually had to loot for food and water. Their temporary residence is a school that was abandoned many years ago.

FEMA is broke. $1 billion in funds was siphoned off from what I understand to feed, house and otherwise take care of illegal immigrants according to Fox news.

Musk blasts FCC for ‘illegally’ pulling Starlink award, says it would’ve helped victims of Hurricane Helene (msn.com)

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk on Wednesday said that the Federal Communications Commission’s decision to not move forward with an award for SpaceX’s Starlink to provide rural broadband may have cost lives in North Carolina when it was hit by Hurricane Helene.

Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, responded to a post on X from a user who noted that “North Carolina would have 19,522 working Starlink kits available today after Hurricane Helene had the FCC not revoked in bad faith the grant that was awarded to SpaceX as the winning bidder.”

“Had the FCC not illegally revoked the SpaceX Starlink award, it would probably have saved lives in North Carolina,” Musk wrote in his response. “Lawfare costs lives.”

The western part of North Carolina was hit particularly hard by Hurricane Helene, which also brought devastation to other parts of the Southeast after it made landfall in Florida’s Big Bend region as a category 4 hurricane. At least 170 people have been confirmed dead in six states – Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee – in what is now the second-deadliest hurricane to hit the U.S. mainland.

SpaceX’s Starlink, which provides high-speed internet via satellite connections, was awarded $885 million by the FCC in 2020 to help expand high-speed internet access around the country in rural areas.

The FCC rescinded that initial award in 2022, arguing Starlink wouldn’t be reasonably capable of meeting the program’s requirements, and reaffirmed that decision in Dec. 2023.

An FCC spokesperson told FOX Business in a statement, “Chairwoman Rosenworcel stands by the FCC’s thorough review of a program meant to provide long-term access to reliable and affordable broadband in rural communities.”

“In this instance, the agency denied public funds to more than a dozen companies – not just Starlink – who did not meet the program requirements. As an independent agency, the FCC takes seriously its obligation to ensure that taxpayer dollars only go to entities that fully comply with the rules and the law,” the FCC statement continued.

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, who has criticized the agency’s decision not to award rural broadband funds to SpaceX, told FOX Business: “There is no question that communities across the country would be in a materially better position today, in terms of connectivity, if the government had not unlawfully revoked the 2020 award Starlink lawfully won.”

Carr previously told FOX Business that he viewed the decision to rescind the Starlink award as being driven by partisan politics in light of President Biden’s prior statements that Musk’s relationships with other countries are “worthy of being looked at” and other regulatory scrutiny federal agencies have brought to bear on Musk’s business.

Residents of communities impacted by Hurricane Helene, which brought historic flooding to regions of western North Carolina, are still trying to restore communications and power to affected areas – an effort that’s been hampered by the level of damage to roads and bridges in the region.

Former President Trump said Monday that he “just spoke to Elon” because he wanted to “get Starlink hooked up because they have no communication whatsoever” due to storm damage.

White House spokesperson Andrew Bates had posted Monday afternoon on X that “this was already happening.” In an update on Wednesday, Bates said on X that FEMA has helped provide 67 total Starlink systems to the state.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) said in a press release Wednesday that it has provided 50 Starlink satellite systems to help with responders’ communications.

Starlink said Tuesday that a total of roughly 500 Starlink kits have arrived or will arrive in areas impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Musk also announced that Starlink was working to make the system work in hurricane-affected areas regardless of payment status, essentially providing free access for those impacted by Helene.

FOX Business’ Aislinn Murphy contributed to this report.

I know plenty of folks out there and who are helping out there. They’ve all said the same. It is a red area and will be last on their list. Elon has seen the light and now he’s also last. AS I’ve said before, team blue has never worked harder to kill Americans. That alone should see them get zero votes and go to jail.

These are the types of incidents that burn my balls.
Just my opinion, if you’re going to save people from this disaster, please , by all means ask, and LEAVE THE DEMOCRATS TO SUFFER, DROWN AND STARVE.
Just ask them as you fly by Trump or Kamala. You’ll probably save on fuel!
LEAVE THE DEMOCRATS BEHIND, I IMPLORE YOU! Time to give back!
Are we really going to save someone who is a NON AMERICAN and doesn’t believe in our country and kneels for our National Anthem, drop them in the phuckin ocean! Their time has seriously come!

Don’t look to the Government for help – look to the body of Christ – the Church! ALL the churches are stepping-up and serving their neighbors. So MANY are being innovative and persevering through this unprecedented disaster! Mule Trains and ATVs to deliver supplies to isolated communities. Samaritan’s Purse is there and working, both in Boone and the surrounding counties, and in Asheville! Baptist On Mission are serving in every small town, servinf meals and distributing supplies brought in by other ministries and volunteers. Samaritan’s Purse is deploying 1,000 new 4Kwat generators and Starlink Internet Servers to a church in every small town! Folks, it is CHRISTIANS who are meeting the needs of this disaster, and its an amazing and wonderful thing to see!

Furthermore, who ever said, that when the real sh1t comes down, that
“They won’t be following orders”. If the government wants us dead, they will, by all, means, kill us! By following orders! There should be no doubt!
We’re living in some sick times!
I think I’ll head to the meme section before I say something that is
AGAINST THE FIRST AMENDMENT!

THE DAILY MAIL BROTHER,

The disaster response agency FEMA is out of money to help Americans in distress after Hurricane Helene despite blowing billions on illegal migrants.

Over the last two years, FEMA has been given over one billion taxpayer dollars to specifically support illegal migrants with housing.

But now money is coming up short for American citizens in need after over 150,000 households impacted by Hurricane Helene have reached out to the federal government for assistance.

‘FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season,’ Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas shockingly admitted Wednesday.

Congress just last week passed a funding bill with $20 billion dollars additionally allocated to the agency specifically for the anticipated hurricane season.
Amongst MANY other reports of OUTRAGE!

IDK, Maybe I’m OVER REACTING! I’ve been known to d that When AMERICAN’s are Killed or P!ssed on!
If this isn’t a WAKE-UP call to Every AMERICAN against this Marxist Regime then there won’t be a United States of America anymore.

Curious to me is why they don’t stop that usage today (or a few days ago, and let these honest hard working folks get by on the free gifts so far.

I was furious from day one how the feds were handling this situation. Today listening to Glenn beck and the clay and buck show at work, my blood was boiling when folks were calling in and talking about what they seen and what they didnt see in the areas impacted.

Unfortunately its gonna get a whole lot worse. Only people you can trust is your neighbors and good Americans.

Something tells me the feds wont help to get these folks makeshift polling stations.

Pete Buttigieg’s response to all this was to put a ban in place for flyovers of private drones over the affected areas.

They don’t want us to see what is going on in TV and YouTube anymore because it’ll shape voters opinions of what a fiasco the Government’s non response is.

Yesterday a local Fire Chief stopped a private citizen from flying in his helicopter to rescue people because it interfered with HIS operation.

We have lost our way

I read that story, it was on the local news website. Unbelievable

I want to give a salute to everybody whos helping out down there. Whether its a neighbor or someone from out of the area whos helping out.

One politician i do want to give a shout out to is Florida rep Corey Mills. Hes supposed to be in FL stumping for his reelection but hes in NC setting up helicopters for deliveries, etc. Not the first time for him either, he helped get Americans out of haiti earlier and also when pedojoe surrendered in Afghanistan, he was getting Americans out.

If we had more like him, our world would be a lot better
