North Carolina recovery efforts after hurricane Helene

Great video of what is actually going on with the rescue efforts in North Carolina. Things that most media won’t talk about.

…because those things would paint the Biden/Kamala administration in a bad light

I have yet to see the Biden/Harris/Walz cabal say or do anything that could possibly paint them in a good light.

Ooh ooh, this is an easy one! They, especially Klamydia Hairrs, have emphasized the significant significance of having a significantly well-maintained lawn. As I am sure we are all aware, this is of utmost significance when determining how to spend the significant sum of $750.00 allotted for hurricane relief. Trust me, it’s significant.

North Carolina first responders exchange vows among chaos in Hurricane Helene aftermath (msn.com)

A first responder couple in North Carolina postponed their wedding plans to help assist with Hurricane Helene disaster recovery and let their love shine in a commitment ceremony amid the chaos.

“Today we were supposed to be in Glacier National Park getting married. While Hurricane Helene took that special day and trip from us, we will reschedule it and legally make it happen later,” Rhonda Chislaghi wrote in a post on Facebook.

“But today was our wedding day, and we were not going to spend it apart. We knew if we could do a vow and ring exchange today, we would and, thanks to some special folks, it happened,” Chislaghi continued, sharing photos of their special ceremony.

Chislaghi and now-husband Eric Barnwell were supposed to fly out of North Carolina on Sept. 29 for their wedding on Oct. 2, WLOS first reported. Their plans were upended when Hurricane Helene struck and devastated western North Carolina along with several other neighboring states.

FEMA is hindering the recovery. It looks like they are trying to keep them from voting.

Never in my 54 years on this planet would I have thought I would hear the words “fema blockade”. :person_facepalming: The very people who are supposed to be helping Americans are now standing in the way of helping those in need. WTF !??? :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Helicopter destroys Hurricane Helene recovery supplies in Burnsville, North Carolina at a distribution site.

Locals say two black SUVs did a “slow roll” 45 minutes before the helicopter showed up.

“This evening at approximately 7:18 in Burnsville, NC an unmarked helicopter flew in and attempted to destroy the distribution area that was set up by locals for locals while I was conducting a K9 Security Round,” megsbacn, a veteran volunteer said on TT.

“THIS WAS NOT ONE OF OUR HELOS! This was about 45 minutes after 2 unmarked black SUVS and a side-by-side did a slow roll at the entrance of our parking lot and left.”

“[The helicopter] was UNMARKED and it is illegal to fly unmarked helicopters. But we know SF can and does and we know some private contractors do (not sure of the legalities on that though)…”

“So who were they? Why were they here? Why were they masked up? I’ve done plenty of helo ops with Coast Guard helos and I know a practiced rotor wash when I see it and our pilots never masked up this way.”

New contest: how many times can you use the word significant or significance in a sentence?

I find it significant that I come from a significant middle class family of some some significance with you over looking their significance significant.

Something significant like this significance.
The significance of being significant is significant for those that may not see the significance of being significant…
