One word to describe this is BIG! The kit comes in a BIG reinforced, double-zippered nylon case, with elastic straps to secure everything. The knife-clamp is nearly as BIG as GATCO’s, and marked for 11-to-30 degrees, with an unusually wide head on its set-screw. It also comes with a pedestal-stand, and an open-ended bench-clamp. The pedestal is slotted, and uses the angle-guides on the knife-clamp - as does GATCO’s “Easy-Grip” - for hands-free sharpening, but you MUST use the bench-clamp for stability. The three aluminum-oxide stone-holders are BIG, color-coded, and clearly marked for coarse-medium-fine - their threaded guide-rods are unusually long and slender.
