When I teach self defense classes I have this line…
“Your attacker may do things in the moment that they would not have done just seconds earlier, like stomp on your skull or run over you with their car. That’s what we train for, that’s what we train to avoid…”.

In my particular situation…if you took all the black rifles out of my house you would still be screwed six ways from Sunday if you made the uneducated decision to try that crap. Thugs get slugs.

I Concur, While I use to have more creative tools in my toolbox
Age an Disability have now made me FOCUS on Firepower.
My Self Defense no longer includes Blades and Non-Lethal hardware.
If I can’t Evade or am INVADED they get the Lead.
If a Prosecutor try’s to tell a Jury I should have ‘Sustained Damage’ before opening fire
my simple answer to them is-----‘YOU FIRST’.
God willing I will be alive to tell the tale in court.
If not? I won’t really care but I’ll take as many of the bestards with me I can, (5 lbs. of pressure folk’s)
I can sustain a lot of damage before it goes BLACK.

I’ve got multiple 12 gauge shotguns and a absolutely gnarly collection of handguns. Ide get writers cramp cataloging edged weaponry…I’m an enthusiast shall we say. Just as any bloodthirsty killing American should be,right?

Not much worried about it. If the government wants you you are had. I’m sure we are all on somebody’s list somewhere. If I’m being researched it’s a monumental waste of time and resources.

Let’s take a lesson from the ATFE. They show up at homes of people that have done nothing wrong, 30 strong, mask cameras, show up in the dark, the homeowner doesn’t know who’s there, arms themselves, and the ATF agents fill em full of holes with their AR’s and all is cool. They’re cool, no repercussions….you do it in legitimate self defense and you’re the bad guy. The government doesn’t care about unfair advantage, so let’s take our lesson from them. They’re the experts after all, if unfair advantage is the norm, let’s learn from the lessons they teach and practice the same.
