I’ve watched a LOT of live coverage of this man for years. Sometimes, when he is looking down, it does look like he’s sleeping, but in all the years I’ve watched live coverage, it has NEVER amounted to his being asleep. THIS is just the usual $hit stirring from the resident bridge troll.

Really, were you sleeping through some of his live coverage? I find it interesting that it is ok for him to mock the last president, and yet he is guilty of the same behavior.
To that point, I totally understand why you guys think he is the second coming. You do the exact same thing to people. Hubris…

After you learn what hubris means, learn about conflation. If you get that far, look up causation vs. correlation.
Also, please post actual videos of trump sleeping. I’d love to see him. By all accounts, he needs very little sleep. Part of how he can do so much good in so little time.
Like so many other’s feel, some of whom have posted here, my life is dramatically better under Trump, 2.0 more so than 1.0. He’s doing a LOT more this time around. Your life might suck, but most people’s are much better. Maybe be grateful for that?

Oh @Brad I have said he has done great things; I have even said he has had good intentions, but they were flawed, and why.
Really, or is it just a lie you tell yourself? Inflation is up 3.8%. Gas prices are crazy; I have not seen gas prices this high since Carter.
Food prices have risen significantly in 2026. In April was the largest monthly increase at 2.9%. There hasn’t been an increase like that in years.
U.S. manufacturing is experiencing a notable downturn, with employment falling by over 100,000 jobs in 2025 and continued, persistent decline through the beginning of 2026.
What really pisses me off is ammunition is costing more, also reducing my range time. Ammunition prices have risen by approximately 2% to 15% in early 2026.
Around 40% of the S&P 500 is heading for a negative year as 2025 closing and 2026 begins in a decline also. So you might have to wait a few more years to retire.
I could go on but, it really isn’t nessasry. I really hope these things turn around for everyones sake, but I do not see a single person in Washington coming forward with a plan. Just like all the promises with healthcare reform.

S&P broke a record high again yesterday, as did the NasdaQ. The returns on my investments far outreach any inflation that is currently occurring because of the Iran thing. As of 2:45 today, the S&P and Nasdaq are again headed for record highs, and the DOW is above 50,000.
Don’t know what ammo you use, but my Blazer Brass 9mm is up about half a penny per round since I last bought it in March of 2025, and is still less expensive than when I was buying it in 2024.
Inflation is not “UP” 3.8%, it is “AT” 3.8%. The maximum inflation rate under President Biden reached 9.1 percent in June 2022.
I keep spreadsheets of all kinds of data, including gas prices. The most I paid during Biden’s term was $4.84/gallon, Today’s price where I am, $3.95.
MY life is dramatically improved under Trumps 2nd term.
