Thx, I bought a Blowback Digital trainer which I saw at a show. Haven’t tried it yet but it looks good. I’ll look into the SIRT. Thanks again.

I am not familiar with that particular laser trainer but it looks like it will simulate some recoil but will likely still be a lot easier on your injured ligament than live fire. You should definitely give it a try. Just 10 minutes of dry fire a couple times a week can really improve your live fire skills. Assuming you are practicing with proper technique. If you haven’t taken a course with a qualified Instructor I would highly recommend doing so. Some instructors have different firearms you can try so you can see what works best for you. Though I would avoid too much live fire until your injury has healed properly or a specialist gives you some suggestions for protecting it while you train.

First things first----get your hand healed and do the rehab.
Since we don’t know the extent of your injury, I’d be concerned with exasperating your injury,
since even a .22 single action requires a peculiar dexterity from your gun hand.
Maybe consult your doctor for recommendations for a handgun that may cause (you) no harm as the oath kind of goes.

Open indeed.

I had my 357 mag revolver barrels magnaported. It helped reduce recoil.
