had at least 6 so far today… maybe changing the board provider would be a good thing… I frequent several boards this is the only one that fails to load threads and gives you basically a empty scree,

Without giving out too much information, I am currently seeking other options that work better than an online forum like this that are proven to be leaps and bounds better. I just ask for patience as this, while yes is kind of my job, is pretty low on my list of things to do right now since my title reaches far beyond an online forum. My focus is community building though and we wouldn’t have a company without a dedicated user base so I do resonate with that and am doing all I can to make a better space possible without the moderation systems this board limits us to. I know at the end of the day that my ideas involve change and I wont please everyone but what I am pitching is genuinely just… better, for lack of better terms.

Aside from the moderation issues I find this forum setup works better than most of the other forums I have occasionally visited. So I hope the changes won’t be too dramatic. A lot of other forums can make it hard to find and follow new and existing topics. I find this current setup easy to follow and stay engaged with.
I have never encountered the blank thread issue a couple other people are mentioning. Though I only access via the Safari browser on my phone so perhaps it is browser or device related?
I understand that the USCCA has many more important projects than this forum going on. But repeatedly reminding us how low we are on the priority list doesn’t exactly encourage our continuing participation. Just a comment about how you tend to phrase things that may not be coming across the way you mean them to.

We are getting responses. The problem is now we have nothing to complain about I will look at it as a challenge and try to only say positive, optimistic things. Always look on the bright side of life

Those blank threads issue doesn’t seems to be fixable without user’s participation and tests.
From moderators perspective it’s impossible to find what’s wrong, if we only report “blank thread”…
Since this happens to few people only, that might be mostly related to the environment where the USCCA Community is used.
What I’ve noticed with the “blank thread” is:
- hasn’t happened on my phone for last 12 months or so, doesn’t matter if I’m on my home or office wifi or cellular
- doesn’t happen on Firefox
- sometimes happens on Chrome
- always happens on PC app (which is based on Chrome) when I minimize the app and reopen it after some time. Simple reload (F5 or CTRL-R, depending on your OS) brings everything back to normal.
I’m guessing information like this above will help moderators to figure out what might be wrong… even we are on the very bottom of priority list…

I was having problems with Edge on Windows 10 last year. I changed to Chrome on Windows 10 and problems went away.
I changed to Windows 11 in December 2024 and stuck with Chrome - no problems so far.

I just switched to Firefox and my problem was solved.

It was happening on my Windows PC. I looked at the Windows release and it was updated to Windows 11 at the end of December. That was around the time the blank threads started for me. So far this week I haven’t had any. I don’t know if they may have had a problem that they may have had to write a patch for.

So it proves that the issue is limited to your location, PC, phone, Internet Provider or settings.

I am not alone in this others have replied as well… I just tend to be more vocal…
and AGAIN I have NO TROUBLE with any other board I use NONE!!! just this one…
and I use several BTW… like this one but using it can be a real pain… they fixed it once…
but the problem is back… hmmm…

Maybe copy and paste the URL of a blank post and paste it in Safari and see if it works. Or just into a different browser.
Yeah, Firefox here as well, Windows 10 with Surfshark VPN and no issues. Chrome on the cell with Surfshark and the only posts I’m not seeing anymore are from the troll I blocked…yay.
