Looks like a Rock Island VR80 to me

Not sure I am sold on mags in a shotgun.

I like a lot.

I like a good mag as much as the next guy/girl, but for my application, I think I prefer the old fashioned 870.
It is a pretty interesting addition to the 870 though, and I can see instances where that would be desired. SBS with a mag or drum :heart_eyes:

Ehh, will stick with my old Remington shotguns. Not sure I would put much faith in a new Remington gun these days.

I like mine, I’ve had it for a couple of years now. One mag has rubber bullets.

I like my Ithaca Defender 8 shot, all steel, a little heavy but I can make her sing. :+1:

I’ve got an 870. It still doesn’t stand up to my old 1100. Miss that gun.

Nowadays I believe it would be a Mossberg for me. The 590’s are fine weapons.

Any issues with rounds deforming in mag if left loaded over time?

I just checked the 2 mags I have loaded with Hornady 3" magnum (coyote) and see no noticable “bulging”.

Hope that helps.
