Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

I think Hell exists on Earth. It’s a psychological state, or it can be a physical state. People who have severe mental illness are in Hell. People who have lost a loved one are in Hell. I think there are all kinds of different hells. It’s not a place you go to after you die.

@Don102 Very hard time of year for me. Someone I loved died on Christmas Day 5 years ago. You never get over that. Thanks for caring.

I’m Truly sorry ma’am.
My Wife went home a little bit ago to be
one of God’s Warrior’s. If you needed a WARRIOR
to give you the Heart of a Viking and the Soul of an Angel
she was it. I have prayed for your peace Wanda and sent
the very best Angels to comfort.
I was never a ‘Churchie’ I guess I never had the commitment.
No offense meant to all my Brothers and Sisters of the Cloth or Cross.
I admire you all. But I’ve gone from Spiritual to something deeper
with all I’ve seen and been through.
Death of many Brother’s
My Wife
My Real brother recently
and my Kid’s (Pets)
That is why your ‘No Closure to grief hit me like a Brick’.
But we MUST Live, If not for us, for them.
We will all meet up again in whatever you believe in your heart.
Peace be with you My dear.

I read Tom Clancy’s “Debt of Honor” about a Japanese pilot flying a 747 into the capitol while I was flying back from Tokyo Narita aboard a UAL 747 bound for Dulles

Talk about what the imagination can do while you’re reading (and flying)!!

This is a worry of mine. Not that we are that old yet but her family doesn’t make it past 75 usually. My family usually makes it into their 90s or older.

I’ll be saying a prayer for you tonight Wanda. God bless

@Wanda3 I’m no stranger to grief. There are no words that can make it better. It’s just hard, and that’s all there is to say about it. God be with you. God bless.

Thank you. Your words are comforting. I accept all prayers and am grateful for them.
Im sorry for all your losses.
I have deep spiritual beliefs that don’t necessarily fit in any one box. Grief is heavy and unpredictable. Certain things bring it back to the forefront and this time of year does for sure. I was numb for a long time. I have found ways to keep living and, surprisingly, breathing.
Humor helps me, as you know. Connection with others like my friends on this site and others help as well. Looking for signs from him, cursing him out, and sobbing…all visits from grief.
It is a lonely place to be.

I think it is good to talk about grief and it is brave of you to be so open. It may help someone else on this site.
You have helped this day and I am truly grateful.
