I think this remains one of the biggest threats for mass killings in our society today. Not guns, but vehicles, and it illustrates that it’s not the “tool” used but the state of mind of the perpetrator. In this case, the individual was apparently upset about his divorce!

The terrorist in Nice, France, 2016, used a truck to kill 86 and injure 400+, more that the Las Vegas shooter with a room full of guns. Where is the call to ban all vehicles and for common sense traffic laws?

In 2017 there was a similar attack in Stockholm, Sweden. A terrorist hijacked a delivery truck and drove it down a pedestrian street killing, amazingly “only”, five and injuring many more before crashing into a store.

What kind of vehicle was it? You know you can kill more people with a Hummer or Jeep. They use them in wars. They are the type of vehicles they should ban. It’s common sense.

Where there’s a will there’s a way. Cars, trucks, knifes, machetes, swords, explosives, suicide bombers, incendiary devices, drones, lasers, poisons, you name it. When and if guns are banned nothing will change, except for the creativity the bad guys will use to accomplish their objectives.

The anti vehicle crowd knows they can’t get away with banning all the vehicles immediately. They will start by banning the scary “assault” vehicles first. You know, the black ones with automatic transmissions. Then they will keep working to ban more and more until all we are left with are bicycles.
