Prager University Education Test

I got 34 out of 34 correct.

You have to enter personal information, but I entered all bogus info and it allowed me to take the test.

Prager believes every teacher ought to be able to pass this easy test before they can teach. I would tend to agree.

get 34 out of 34 was pretty easy… I was actually surprised how it would be possible to get wrong answers for those questions… :grimacing:

Some are “common sense” questions which prove the wisdom of the Founding Fathers.

“Unless you are a Marxist indoctrinator, this shouldn’t be that difficult,” said State Superintendent Ryan Walters in a recorded video tied to the assessment. “If you are, to your core, you are trying to get into a classroom to warp the minds of America’s youth into hating this country and to just hating basic facts, rejecting common sense, well, yeah, we don’t want you in the classroom.”

The test questions are largely focused around American history, Biology and parental rights, but you don’t currently have to study up to past the assessment.>

Shawn Ashley, publisher of Oklahoma online legislative tracking and news service Quorum Call, first pointed out the exploit in a social media post Monday. He said that after taking the test, and deliberately answering each question incorrectly, it became obvious there was a workaround. The 34-question test is multiple choice with four possible answers. Ashley said that even after the three incorrect answers were selected, a person taking the test will still be prompted over and over until they select the correct answer. The test then proceeds as if that person never guessed incorrectly in the first place.

“Answered incorrectly a third time, and it gave me an opportunity for a fourth try and the correct answer,” said Ashley. “So I did all 34 questions that way and received the certificate of passage as a result.”

Below are the questions.

They always look for ways to game the system. The point is that even if they cheat, there would be a record showing that they had to pass by answering the questions correctly. There would be a record showing that they knew the correct answers, even if they cheated to do so. They would have had to first acknowledge the truth to get the job.

Realistically though, do these people think wrong answers can’t be tracked?

Changing their teaching behavior AFTER PASSING the test (Either honestly OR dishonestly) would provide reasonable cause to fire them for indoctrinating rather than teaching.

In today’s society, “common sense” is like deodorant. The people who need it the most don’t use it.
