POLL: Are You Finding Ammo? If so, where?

I agree @Wood . I have about 900 rounds of 9mm on hand and have some for my rifles and shotguns, but right now with this election right around the corner and all of the craziness surrounding it, Im holding on to what I have. For the time being my practice is limited to my S&W M&P BB gun replica (my carry is the real deal) and dry fire draws, etc. Also have 1911 “red gun” that I use for stance/draw and aim practice.

I have about the same in plinking ammo. But I NEED the practise! Shot better yesterday, yay. I feel I have enough home defence ammo. I’ll run down range ammo, if I can’t top it up, to a couple of boxes. No, changed my mind, I’ll use it all. Must practise😁… Then .45 AR etc., but not HP,SP

I think it’s time to grab a bellows, light up the furnace, melt anything available, be sure not to manufacture anything that goes against Kalifornia prop 65…

I was born and raised in Cali (Sacramento) and I wouldn’t have traded that experience for anything. Moved to Phoenix, az when i was 18. I like Cali but would never move back. It’s gotten so restrictive.

Kalifornia is like Angel’s Trumpet, beautiful but deadly!

I’ve either heard or read somewhere a pretty good idea that I’m going to do: every time you get paid, try your best to find the ammo you want, at what caliber you need, and that can be bought (good luck) and buy either 1 or 2 boxes. that’s it! Do some searching; your local gun club, the internet, sporting good shops, ect. They’re out there, you just have to look for it. before you know it you will have a pretty good stockpile going on.

I learned a long time ago, bulk purchases are the way to go. However once I stopped smoking I built up my stash. Think about it, a case of ammo cost as much as a carton of cigarettes. Stop cancer, buy ammunition!

Heck yeah! 50 cal is only $3 round!

LOL. Did you ever think you could trade 1x50cal round for only 3x9mm FMJ!

I almost feel like I won the lottery today…scored 2 boxes of 9mm ball (Remington) for 23.6 cpr. This store hasn’t had any 9mm on the shelf for probably 4 months. Best price I’ve seen on brass 9mm in a long time.

Indeed.

Some of their articles are interesting and informative. Similar to Concealed Nation, they have news stories and articles that sometimes are of interest.

Personally I like Cheaper than dirt, and I also check on SportsmanGuide…

There are always some items that are not available at other places, or the other places are out of stock.
