What amazes me is that this issue has been going on for years and yet, even with modern technology, no one can pin point the root cause. The FCU is not a complex unit. Most plausible is it being worn out and tolerances are out of spec. That wasnt in all cases though. I’m not including the tragic airmans death since it seems a 2nd party was involved.
With millions in the population, we should have folks dropping left and right.
I got 2 of them and I shoot the hell out of them and have beat them with a deadblow and nothing.
By now they should have figured out the root cause. When remington had the trigger problem on their 700’s , they figured out the root cause was humans right away and that was what, 20 years ago?
