Good luck and be safe!
When I was in high school, this was one of my favorite days of the year.
Be safe out there!
It’s amazing. Even if you don’t see much action, the peace and tranquillity is refreshing. Funny how 7 days a year, can bring clarity and sanity to the world. No tv. No news. Very little social media. Just nature, some cool clean, crisp air. And a 12 gauge and .357 mag while I sit in the woods.
Here is my hunting success picture. How are other people doing ??
Actually, that is not me, but I thought it was funny
We get 6 weeks just for rifle

I wish I could use a rifle. That said, we get a lot of Chicago “city boys” down here. I’ve seen how they handle a shotgun. I wouldn’t trust some of them with a potato gun.
Just like where I was hunting. I know where each house, barn, and grain silo are within eyesight. Know your target, and what is beyond. So, I don’t aim in those directions.
Went out opening morning, heard a deer cough and he wasn’t wearing a mask, so I went back into the house.
