Added to my grocery list
Unlike traditional snake shot that only works in revolvers, this round cycles in your everyday carry pistol. Whether you’re clearing trails, patrolling your land, or heading into town, you won’t need to switch guns—or ammo.

That’s quite a spread pattern at very close range. I’d worry about “collateral damage” in defensive situations.
Love the idea Beano,
But like David said
And absolutely Fagedaboutit a Head Shot… You could tag some kids eating @ a DQ !
If they can CONCENTRATE that pattern though they may eventually have something…
Wouldn’t this product be a cheaper option than spray and pray?
Ah; the time-tested “gangsta” accuracy training. This new round is all spray–prayer is optional.
Meh. I’ve yet to roll up on a snake that needed shooting, just a wide berth. I certainly wouldn’t rely on a pistol cartidge-sized charge of shot defending myself from the two-legged kind.
We have garter snakes. I like them for pest control and momma is warming up to them. No venomous varieties near. Oops! Carry on.
I don’t shoot Animals for sport (EVER)
and only shot (2) Snakes that were way too close for comfort
a Black Mamba and a Rattlesnake (USA) both were eaten
(Just not by me!
)
I watched a Video (to enter a Gun giveaway you had to) ‘Plinking’
.22’s on small critters (and looked like left there—I turned it off duck them.
I’ll still choose my .44 for home D rather than these rounds, @ least they won’t take my pictures off my walls in the Hallway! ![]()
Concentrating the pattern would defeat the purpose of having it classified as snake shot.
Same here, Brother. I like to have the skill if required to feed my family, but not as a sport. Truthe be told, I’ve only ever had to shoot one snake in my 33 years at my current address. It was a Water Moccasin that had one of my kids cornered. Plinked him in the head with the Daisy from about 30 feet.
No days I leave the snake killin’ to the cats. They have brought up several Water Moccasins, Rattlesnakes, Copperheads and a few squirrels up to the porch paying their rent.
The #9 shot probably won’t do any serious collateral damage to innocents except maybe putting somebody’s eye out - and that would be bad.
Amen, Brother.
Yeah, that’ll stand up in court.
